When the power returns from going out it returns in a big unregulated wave, usually it causes minor dmg to plugged in electronics that take s years to kill them( you know the old TVs that change the Channel instead of volume even though you are hitting the volume button) sometimes it hits like a tsunami and can fry everything. Highly recommend a pure sinewave ups system or 2 for 3rd world grinding, I use one for my grindstation and another for the network area of modem+router+hotspot. Keeps everything alive for hours during blackouts and added benefit of autregulating the incoming electricity to keeps wattage in the optimal range And prevents DMG to your electronics.

If you're like me, this will fail 100%
I was at my mom's house for 4 days and manage to grind 3 hours between talking to relatives, doing housework and keeping up with old friends, BBQing, seeing nature.

Haha there's not much nature where I'm from, just a city. Ofcourse I'll spend some time with family/friends & playing live, but I'm sure I can get in decent volume.

Went to the apartment today, was really impressed. It's really at the top of my budget (18.000), but for what you get it's a pretty sweet price. Very nice pool, cool view, gym, spa, karaoke & just a nice modern apartment that has everything you need.
Will have a look at the suggested Ari as well and other places around here as well and decide asap.

Haven't gotten around to updating really this week so here we go.

Poker

Been playing really well, since my last coaching session my bb/100 has gone to 7+ (20k hands), so definitely seeing a steady improvement there.
Also gotten some nice runs this week, best results:

1st 11$ Hyper (890$)
1st 12$T 888 (320$)

And earlier today 5th in the H22 for 500$ (JJ<97s, meh)

So overall this week I'm up 450ish, don't want to jinx it but a winning week would be nice.

Non-poker

So pretty sure we'll go for the apartment we went to see last weekend, just seems like the best option and that way my gf can also keep her job etc. Definitely looking forward to getting a new place. Heading to the Netherlands next week so we'll probably move when I come back.

Besides poker also been reading more as I said I would, read 3 books this week so that's been something new as well.

Played a second session today which had some nice deep runs as well.
Got 10th in a 11$ hyper & then ft'd the 44BB. Unfortunately some jackass hit his 3-outer on the river with AQ vs my AK so a disappointing 6th place.

Up 750$ today, nice to have a solid winning day again, but could've been so much more if I hadn't gotten 3-outered at both the biggest ft's I played this month.

So after doing the accounting work yesterday it turned out I was able to pay off All my makeup, and after that I'm still up 600$.
Feels good to know that I'm in the + now, and that I can start growing my liferoll now when I win instead of clearing make-up. Feels like a big relief & definitely adds to motivation.

Hopefully I can hotrun a little more today
