Thanks for the suggestion, looks great especially since I play badminton, squash & tennis too, it is however a 20m drive from my current place, will try to see if there's a nice gym somewhere closer to me.

Considering these are her best pictures, she does not quality for a 7. She's average, average is 5. You have to imagine her face from the front as she's using her best angles.

I realise this is just banter and i am sorry to be such a boring stickler for political correctness but...

Reducing anyone, girl or guy to their looks and assigning scores is demeaning. Doing so behind their back in a public forum is a breach of their privacy. Doing it specifically to women on a public forum is definitely sexist.

I talked like this when I was 18 (and older tbh!) but I had the good fortune for that to be before the days of facebook and online forums so I can't now have my naively misogynist/racist/homophobic younger self hauled over the coals for the rest of my life.

More important than concerns over our own reputations is this is the premier poker forum on the internet, there are a lot of female members and it isn't fair on them or good for 2+2to have even slightly sexist stuff on here. As a MAWG I've found 2+2 to be a kind and welcoming community - I would hope that to be the same for all fellow players who come here regardless of their sex, colour or sexual orientation.

Over the years I've learned from friends and relatives what it is like to be subjected to sexism, racism and homophobia on a daily basis and I've resolved to be more aware of my privilege and prejudices and avoid lazy/unthinking use of hurtful language. I'm not perfect and I don't claim to be but I am trying!

I'm not accusing any of you of being totally out of order - I know it is just friendly banter to us. However it can upset people and can create an atmosphere in which harsher, more hurtful views can be more easily expressed and it can put off contributions from female players.

Personally I find her attractive , otherwise I obviously wouldn't spend time with her, altho she's fun to be with (also great ass, which is a nice +). Can definitely see how others would think differently.

First of all, are you dutch?

Second, I personally don't see the big deal. I post a perfectly normal picture of a girl (not demeaning/humiliating whatsoever), which comes from her fb so it's not like a private thing.
If you're saying it's sexist for guys to talk about a girls appearance then you're taking the whole PC thing way too far. Personally I wouldn't take any offence If people were judging me by my looks, even if I didn't know about it or it was negative, people should be free to express their opinions, especially on a public forum. Also, it's not like girls don't do this all the time, ever seen those 'farang' facebook pages? they're like forums purely made on judging us, however when girls do it suddenly it's way more normal since you can't be sexist towards guys right?

You could raise a point that I shouldn't post her picture in the first place, then again I have nothing to be ashamed of and I know it won't hurt her / have a negative influence on her in any way.

Yep, got on tinder before I left last week, I currently pay 15k baht for a month in a hotel.
Still looking for an apartment, hoping to find one before the 10th next month.
Lived in a house with 2 other poker players on Malta, had a great time and I feel like it's definitely something every poker player should try. However now that I'm in thailand I prefer the privacy a bit more so I will be living on my own for now.

Look if you think I'm some sort of prudish PC nit you couldn't be more wrong (ok, i am a nit). I worked as a bouncer for 5 years when I was young and oh my god am I glad none of the dumbass conversations I had with colleagues and regulars have been preserved forever on the internet!

Frankly I'm horrified by some of the stuff I said back in the day. I hope to god I never properly upset or scared anyone but I'm sad to admit I really have no idea. At the time, I was too selfish and self centred and concerned about looking tough and being funny to give a **** about what anyone else was feeling. I also used to confuse running other people down with being confident in myself. It is the mistake all bullies make and I'm glad I've largely grown out of it.

Point is you live and learn and I was just trying to do you guys a solid by gently giving you the benefit of stuff I learned (slowly) in the last 20 years. Take it or leave it but there's no need to get all defensive about it - that's something else scared little bully boys do - lash out at any criticism because their egos are too fragile to listen and take it onboard.

It would help you in poker and life in general to be more empathetic and more easily put yourself in others' shoes.

No I'm not Dutch, I'm English. This isn't a national cultural thing though - it is the same the world over.

Now, I wasn't trying to upset you and I thought my original post was pretty gentle. I also didn't and don't mean to sound patronising. I just see you displaying a similar attitude to me when I was your age and I thought offering my experience in life to you on this subject would be potentially useful. Certainly more useful than anything I have to say about tournament poker! I'm hear to learn from your experience on that front.

I used to feel like feminism was BS and just a load of whinging women trying to make us guys feel **** about ourselves. That really isn't the case in reality though and it took me a while to understand that. Strangely it was only when I started listening properly to the women I know that I began to understand.

Also it is harmful to yourself to seek approval for your choices of partner from other people, particularly random dudes on the internet! Love is an even harder game than poker and it isn't made any easier by letting others set your success criteria for you.

Of course if you're anything like I was at your age you can't be told stuff ny boring old gits like me so you'll learn this in your own way and in your own time. Just know I said all this stuff to try and help - not upset or annoy.

Personally I would rather hear more about the poker so let's get back to that...

Appreciate that you're trying to help, however I'll stick to my point that I'm not being disrespectful to women in any way whatsoever. Also don't see where you're coming from about the 'seeking approval', there are very few questions i wouldn't want to answer itt, and since a couple of 2+2ers asked for pics i shared them because I didn't see the harm in it.

@BAE like LonelyBox said, I never said I believe she's a 5, only stated that I expected most people wouldn't rate her higher than a 7. Once again, I wouldn't spend time with her if i didn't think she was cute/attractive, which is why I had no reason to not share the pics. Also i clearly stated myself that looks aren't everything too, however none of us would like to be with a girl we don't feel attracted to.
