From 10nl to 100nl - The Blueprint
Yeah you gotta fold I'm afraid. He's just not going to bluff here, even a fish
Friday:
Sat:
Still prone to the odd moment of tilt like this. The jam was slammed in relatively quickly and in hindsight when I thought afterwards this villain had played relatively tight and straight forward in other pots postflop.
I was about to fold and put him on QQ, then I looked at his stats for folding to a Squeeze as the preflop caller which was 60% which I figured was quite low, I then convince myself that he will need to make some plays in squeeze pots with that range and he maybe is buffing or semi-bluffing with a draw - which is complete bull, he almost never bluff jams here.
EDIT: Reading the HH again I actually remember hesitating to bet here on the flop as I didnt like that Queen and was worried he had the set. I then bet half pot so I could get away if I wanted to, and then that HUD stat changed my mind 10 secs later.
More deep stack fun. This was particularly painful as we are up against two fish/whales. The gentleman with the 700+bb stack was a 75 vpip whale so winning this pot would have been nice to stack the big whale in a future pot who was playing like a maniac.

Hand 1 I definitely check back flop as its a better flop for his range than ours in my opinion. It's rare we ever get 3 streets from AQ/KQ anyway. Hand 2 is just horrible
I took a ton of bad beats that session as shown in the graph above so that may be a factor.
I also think that because he XR all in and the speed at which he did, it irked me a bit. I then began to search the HUD stats for a reason to call.
I may try the same move myself to see the reactions I get. I think in a 3bet pot it is not my normal play to play a set this fast as we can still get all the money in with more subtle methods so I perhaps leveled myself into thinking that the jam had suspicions of a possible draw type hand - which given the board is 2tone and has two broadway cards - the villain probably recognized that I may think this and grudgingly call. Pretty sure on a dry rainbow board he doesnt jam here.

Couple consecutive hands on the same table vs Team Pokerstars Online Pro. Got the feeling villain was trying to stand up to me a bit at this point in time. I honestly couldn't have cared less about losing the blind battle but when I seen my next holecards I knew this would be perfect to act like I had been tilted and tried to look angry and aggressive with my bet timing.

Is this bad play? Not sure what I should be doing here tbh. Somebody stacked me the exact same as this in reverse last wk.
Deeeeeeeeep stack fun. My heart did skip a beat when he raises the river but all things considered felt it was most likely he had TT. I flatted pre to let fish in the SB into the pot. Villain maybe believes I cant have KK here as I would have 3bet Pre.
Same deep stack table got heads up with a fish and I pounded 2 or 3 more BI's out of him in 30 mins. Just post the last hand for a stack size boast

Ive been on this journey for ages .... we have ended up at vodka.
Good luck in July mate ... on and off the tables.
Good luck in July mate ... on and off the tables.
Haha true, thought you had fell off the back of the truck on this journey during some of the turbulence but good to see you hanging in there.
When I hit 100NL ill get you a bottle of vodka to compensate for the emotional stress you have endured. Might come in handy in case something completely random happens like a woman friend phoning you drunk on a Sat night looking for something to do. Obvs the perfect chance for some late night poker and you could show off that magic trick you pull at work where you flop quads
Flopping quads and watching 3 others repping it before it even gets to you is a skill set only a few have.
I think you should just jump to $100nl and get me that bottle ... time is possibly not on your side.

More vodka swirling fun right here in the wk end warm up session.
*And just discovered the "copy" feature in HEM rather than exporting the hand then copying it over, dam thats quicker, Facepalm . Now I know how BenaBadBeat posts 10 hands after a session.
ok, vs reg. Felt donking or XR on flop turns my hand face up. Turn raise for value.
When I get raised on the river I had to fight the urge to call took some time and air then folded. Villain River Raise in SRP is 6% over 80 samples so I dont think he is bluffing here and its perfectly reasonable for him to have Ax which gives him reason to call the Turn raise prob knowing I have a set.

This is hand is nothing special, vs aggro fish maniac. But I think it effects my river decision in the next hand on another table which came 10 secs later.

The UTG opener is a 1 tabler highly suspected fish who we only have a few hands on. Called speculatively PF. As stated above this hand was played same time as above and river decision comes right after I stacked the fish above. It looks as though he has missed the flush and I fully expect him to bluff the river. Pot odds are 40%

Friday Fish Session
Going to bed annoyed cos of this one:
Vs Fish 42 VPIP
When he squeezes I figure his range is AA KK QQ AK. I felt he had AA but wanted to consider his range. When the Ace hits the Turn I feel this is trouble. Then I consider he may have KK still when he checks turn. So I stupidly bet the Turn and way too big thinking he may plod along with KK or QQ. Then he jams the Turn and I know he has AA but I still call off my stack cos the pot odds are like 20% and there is still chance he has AK. Messy.
Vs Reg, Easy Game
Same table as above maybe the very next hand, vs another Reg
First instinct he has AK after his flop bet. When he doesnt shove my raise I figure he doesnt have KK.
A on the Turn. I timebanked for maybe 15 secs here. AA is defo in his range and I felt KK was less likely. At the time I figured he has more combos of AK than AA here and decided to shove the Turn.
Vs Fish, didnt have many hands on him but think he was quite Aggro. I felt really awkward on the river with the board being paired. Earlier another fish overbet jammed on me when I held JJ and I folded and he showed something crap like 55, so think that influenced my decision here but these ones can go either way.

Filthiest hand I have played for a while. Dunno if there is any bad play here or if I'm just destined to lose a stack on this one.
32 VPIP one tabling Fish opens. Reg 3bets on the Btn. I dont want to 4bet as I want to keep the fish in the pot plus the reg will just fold all his bluffs and jam better hands. Right so fish decides to 4bet, we have 250 hands on this gentleman and his 4bet Range is 7.1 so this looks a little fishy although small sample.
Monotone flop A high. Check check.
I bet the turn 1/3 pot to allow Mr Fish to get out the way of the scary board and if he has anything massive I still have the 2nd Nut flush draw. Fish raises and I dont see how I can fold here

Never finished playing until 7.30am Sat night so will do session review now. Not checked any July results yet and I will leave that until next Sunday to see how things are going.
vs Reg, he must either be on tilt or hate me really badly. Thought it was strange.
Hmmm... AA and KK I felt
This hand is the the set up for the disaster that occurs in the next hand.
So the error here is getting too carried away and trying the bluff against the wrong player type. Dont bluff a fish, I know this but tried it anyway. Important thing will be to NOT let the error happen again.
Ok, this hand pains me. This Reg has just moved up to 50NL as I know him well from 25 and have never seen him at 50 before.
I have been specifically making the point to myself to behave and be less aggressive when I have 2 pair that is not Top 2 pair. This reg usually plays aggressively vs me and as the table has went down to 4 handed I felt he was getting crafty and tryna pull some moves so I played this quickly without thinking much to instant regret.
Same Reg as above about ten mins later, we go at it again. I know he could have KK or QQ here, maybe I am over eager to get it in to get some revenge for the previous hand but I felt he had KQ so went with my instincts.
I had doubled up vs this fish earlier and knew he was raging about it. When he jams I did pause briefly to re-check the board but knew he would have re-raised preflop if he had AA.
Was happy to get to bed after winning that stack and just as I was closing my tables down I got AA. I stacked this reg earlier and seemed to get the better of him all night. Felt he was looking to get revenge and from EP he didnt fold to many 3bets. I remember squeezing a little larger than usual.
On the flop I wasent looking for any disasters as Im trying to end the session and I just felt he had me here with there being a J and Q on board.
When he doesnt bet the flop I am a little more curious and start to think he will have a lot of pocket pair hands in his range that have missed here.
On the river I was just counting the amount of 2 pair hands and sets that beat me.
vs Reg, he must either be on tilt or hate me really badly. Thought it was strange.

Weekend warm-up session:
vs Reg
Was tempted to slow down here on the flop cos of the K and Q. Then I figured there was every chance he would have been more aggressive preflop if he had QQ or KK, not every time but a decent % and felt he has AK or AQ here sometimes when he calls the flop, so went for the aggro approach.
Its honestly painful to post this hand. Session had went nicely until this. I have 2 internet connections both working fine. Stars was disconnecting all night so a lot of my tables had timed down to zero seconds.
vs Big fish. 67 VPIP we have around 70 hands on him, seems aggro and loose. So Stars does its magic and disconnects as I flop a flush. I rejoin the hand at the turn, bet. Bet the river.
Then im trying to click back in on other tables. Then I looks over to the other monitor and see's the big fish has overbet jammed, then I see's zero seconds on the timer and its literally about to fold me so I could only reflex click call without any thinking time.
Never even seen how big the overbet jam was til I checked this in the replayer and nearly spewed. Pretty sure if I have my timebank here and 5 secs to check the pot and jam size I can fold.
Urrrrghhhh
vs Loose Reg think he is like 32 VPIP
again timebank is low courtesy of Stars so didnt have forever to analyse this, noted his 3bet Turn Cbet OOP was like 67 and then his River cbet in 3bet pots was 2 out of 2, so gritted my teeth and done some flatting.
Get the feeling dude was raging after that hand, he 3bet my next 2 steal attempts and was insta-cbetting. Ill stack him again on the wk end i let him keep the 5bb pots.
Would be great if Stars can fix the connection problems. I know having 0 timebank tilts me and I leave tables if Im at zero, but cant do that on a table full of idiots on a deep stack table.

On to the next one..
Just watching the mens wimbledon final so think ill fire out a few graphs and check July results at the same time.
Ok so yday had more connection problems on Stars, also noticed a couple other regs were disconnected too. Had a look at my monthly results last night and went to bed pretty dissapointed as it was around BE
When I woke up today I had a couple pots on my mind from deep stack tables that were pretty huge. Posted the first one here for some feedback in the main forum if anyone wants a look: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/96...board-1545841/
Secondly I recalled a huge pot were Stars conveniently disconnected me where I bet like 260bb into a 260bb pot on the river with a Straight and villain still has maybe 30bb left behind, so if he raises the last few bb I need to call obvs. Stars disconnects and a bad one, as I was gone for like 3 mins before it recovers, so if villain had raised the last in here I would have timed out and folded.
Goes to check it in HEM today and the HH is not there cos I disconnected. I knew I won the hand after reconnecting but I never seen how it finished.
So today I emailed Stars, complained about the connection problems and requested yday playing history to get the hand below. So turns out there was around 20 hands that werent in HEM due to disconnects. Stars emailed me some other bull about I am to email them my ISP, computer RAM and processor speeds bla bla. I play on a high spec machine and have 2 internet connections that I can use, plus the normal web browser works fine when stars goes so pretty sure the problems are on Stars end.
Anyway here is hand:
So after getting the missing HH the July graph looks a bit better, think this is around EV 3.6bb
2015@ 50NL now looks like this, EV 2.68 not great but at least its a positive winrate and provides a platform to build off:
2015 All Stakes:
Think not checking results for 2 weeks weighed on my mind a bit and kinda felt a bit lost at times for how things were going, so might do a weekly check moving forward.

Thought he might have worse set here with me having A clubs takes away a lot of flush draws, so was hoping he would ship the flop or call off the turn jam

Thought he might have worse set here with me having A clubs takes away a lot of flush draws, so was hoping he would ship the flop or call off the turn jam

Friday Session Review:
Ok my notes says this was vs a big Fish. I check HEM and it is in fact vs a reg whom I dont recognise all that much. Dunno why I thought this was a fish?
Vs Good Reg
Flop: Ok I see it you have 88.
Turn: Hmm no you dont, you have a flush draw maybe Ax.
Showdown: Ahhh right of course
Vs Reg with good win rate over low sample size
89??
Flat pre to let fish on my left in. Then pot the flop and pot the Turn with the board looking drawy. Dont see what I am beating on a river raise. His River raise was 6%
Played this Reg heads up quite a lot last night to try get some tables started. Win a nice pot here but I will confess that later on when I was concentrating on other tables I flopped trips in a 3bet pot then lost focus, and had pre planned to raise the river. Never took into account the 3rd card to flush on river and lost a big pot through negligence. Ill try post it below was real stupid. A few recs joined the table at points too which made it more profitable.
In 3bet pots he kept floating my flop bet and then stabbing the Turn so I checked the Turn then got more interested in hands elsewhere.

Time of the week to check results I think, drumroll.. gulp..
This week:
This Month now reads 22k hands @ 5.87 EV
Session Review:
vs Fish. Prob put the turn raise as two pair but found it hard to fold this.
Think this is very next hand vs same fish:
Oh yeah, think I was giving it the "uft I knew a J was coming on the Turn" then I remembered why I folded on the flop, Q
Had a feeling I got bluffed off this river. Villains postflop play is not that aggro in terms of raises, but he did have a river raise of 17% which made me think he pulls some moves here but still couldnt bring myself to call.
This felt good vs Reg
Vs Reg, recognise this dude from some FR coaching videos I have seen.
When I get it in with AA I dont really like seeing the J Q K come to the party but when the T shows up at the last minute I suppose its all good.
vs Reg. Ufft bottom set, this hand never wins nothing right? I did consider folding to the Turn jam but felt the villain had an overpair here..
Been good a week, lets try and finish off the month the same way and see where things are.

Had a feeling I got bluffed off this river. Villains postflop play is not that aggro in terms of raises, but he did have a river raise of 17% which made me think he pulls some moves here but still couldnt bring myself to call.

vs Reg. Ufft bottom set, this hand never wins nothing right? I did consider folding to the Turn jam but felt the villain had an overpair here..

Been good a week, lets try and finish off the month the same way and see where things are.
I'll have a check at results later on tonight. Last night was a real rollercoaster so unsure where things are for this week.
Ok this looks pretty loose pre on reflection, however there was a big fish who I thought would come into the pot as well and the other villains in the pot were deep stacked so this must have been my reasoning.
When the reg raises on the flop I considered shoving, but there was no point. The fish already has his money in and I doubt I have any fold equity vs the Reg and it was cheap to call and see if I hit my gin card on the turn.
At the time I figured the Reg has a set but I cant see him being able to fold a set on the turn at that price especially if he can still boat up and I may be on draws.
Last hand of a long session. This was an 82 vpip fish who called down with everything and anything so was fully intent on going to value town. On the river I kinda rolled my eyes and thought "bet he has the 6" then bet pot.
When he flipped his cards over, I was genuinely like wtf!? I briefly felt tilted about losing a big pot then paused and had sense of relief that I didnt lose my whole stack on this one if things had gotten aggro pre.
