Yeh felt like a god at the tables today everything just seem to run good. I twice min-raised AA and villains shoved with JJ and KK.

My red line had also took a sharp dip south. Spent a bit of time in HEM looking at stats. Think since i started trying to play 14/12 i wasent stealing as much and i hadnt been cbetting the flop as much. So tried to correct that today and it looks a lot healthier. Think i will still try to play quite a tight game but play much looser with steal attempts when the opportunities are there cos it seems to keep my redline in good shape.

There was also someone watching me play all day today so I was talking through the hands as I played which I felt helped.

Before I can move up I need to improve my big blind play cos it sucks.

Yeh thats the way to start the day. Relieved to see the redline going the right direction too.

Dunno if anyone else is having this problem but mid-way through a session I have had this problem a few times where Pokerstars refuses to let me join any waitlists. I have to end all my tables close the Pokerstars lobby and log on again. Quite frustrating and affecting my hands per hour.

Im playing 10 maximum. My laptop really cant handle any more than that. At 10 the cpu is nearly 100% and it gets a bit laggy sometimes.

Vs a 40/0 fish. I could have folded to a tag or a reg but his VPIP swung me into calling as I figured he had maybe missed a straight draw holding an A and then panic bluffed on the river.

Should I have re-raised big on the flop? I dont like getting over aggressive with 2 pair as it often seems to end in disaster.

Anyway up 50 bucks today and I handed someone $10 on a plate cos I hadnt noticed the 3rd card to the flush had arrived on the river until a millisecond after I pressed the hotkey.

Since the 23rd April ... ive hardly played at all .. maybe 3 hours of play in total.

6 max was doing my nut and i did not want to return to FR so ive basically stopped playing

Ill start up again this weekend at some point and will stay at 6 max but drop to 8 tables instead of 10.

Even though im way more successful at FR compared to 6 max ... i just do not want to return to 16 tabling FR again.

Yeah thanks. My normal win rates from the blinds are around:

      BB: -60
      SB: -15

Some good variance in the BB I reckon plus I read some 2+2 COTW articles on blinds so took on board some advice from that.

Not sure why my Button win rate is so awesome either. Ive been aggressive with attacking limpers, stealing and Ive been 3betting players with a high fold to 3bet when I have ATC.

I will take up 6max after I learn how to play FR first. The thought of playing from the blinds more often really doesnt appeal to me.

If you come back to FR I promise to go easy on you.

Got to hate folding QQ PF.

When 2 pair gets raised on the turn its never good news.

And AK is just no use soon as any amount of money is in the pot.

If villain has QQ+ and AdKd, wich I suspect, you have around 49% equity. But, there's also a chance he doesn't play QQ and maybe KK that way; then you're crushed with around 14% equity. Make it a mix of the two of those, combined with the other hands you've just lost I would be folding that too

I just moved up to 25NL and will probably be making a threat too once I hit 50NL I guess. Aiming for 200NL this year.

              Progress updtae.

              Yday I cashed a $50 Stellar Reward.

Then I decided to cash in my FPPs. Played 24 Sunday Storm Sattys and cashed in 11! Giving me another $121

              Bankroll is $690

Since May 9th I changed my game a bit. After May 9th I am up 18 BI in 20k hands a winrate of 7.48 bb/100

However dont know if I am just kidding myself on and looking at 20k hand upswing and ignoring the hands before it.

If we look at all my hands since I moved back down to 10nl it aint a pretty picture or one to fill with confidence:

So... things are looking better since May 9th. If/When I win another 6 BIs taking my BR to $750 I will be wanting to try 25nl again.

However I am not actually convinced that I have improved since May 9th and it may just be variance so that doesnt fill me with confidence for tackling 25nl again. But at the same time I want to progress so feel I should take the 25nl shot when I reach $750.

Doing hand reviews at the end of sessions I like to tag hands with bad play.

I seem to have a re-occurring bad habit/leak. Will some players more experienced than myself confirm for me that when I have a Set, AA, KK, Straight, that I need to slow down the action and check the board when the 3rd card to the flush arrives? and look to check/call or check/fold rivers in these scenarios.

I seem to play safe like this for a while and then I will just decide "oh he probably doesnt have the flush this time anyway, just bet for value to get some more money out of this pot we need it" and then BOOM I get raised holding a set and end up losing my full stack.

So just so I dont have to see these hands in my "Bad Play" collection in future I am going to have to start slowing down and checking almost EVERY TIME when this 3rd card to the flush arrives. Obv I will lose value the times where villain doesnt have the flush but it will save me losing stacks in the opposite scenario. If I get confident enough at hand reading that I am sure villain doesnt have the flush then I can play otherwise. But right now I feel the vast majority of the time I am going to have to check and slow down.
