I am mainly starting this thread for accountability. I started playing poker again this year for the first time in quite some time. The meta has definitely changed in a lot of ways, and while I am having a ton of early success, I know there is a lot of ground to makeup. I am currently playing 30nl-100nl, and am looking to continue moving up.

Initial September Goals:

• Volume of at least 20k hands a month (I know it is low, but life is very busy
• 16 hours of studying a month (videos, reading, hopefully pio soon)
• Introduce a new concept each month (this month its using the flop check raise more often)

I'll try and check-in at least weekly.

September is just about in the books, so a good time for an update. I passed my volume goal of 20k hands despite traveling and being quite busy this month. I think we will up it to 30k for October.

I took some more shots at 100nl this month, but it didn't go very well. I don't think I played poorly, but I think given my bankroll is a bit light for 100 I may have been playing a bit scared.

I am continuing to dominate 30nl, now just under 8bb/100 for the year. I have done very well at 50nl as well, but the sample is still pretty small. I have been a bit sick the past week, and I think it had a big effect on my game. I think trying to play when I am not totally focused has had a big impact on my game and the small downswing last week is likely a result.

I did a fair amount of studying this month, but not as much as the past few months so I will look to get that back on track. It is probably getting close to the time where I need to invest in PioSolver, but I have been holding off until my bankroll can take the hit. I also am going to renew developing a flop c/r range as it continues to be something I am not doing enough.
