Downswing review
Results of 100nlz so far to date
Showdown/Non-showdown lines + results since around 12k hands mark ( start of downswing )
I think I actually find this ^ graph comforting. When I'm at the tables I feel like I can't win a single pot. I'm consistently on the wrong ends of coolers. I've found myself otr a lot running into the top of other people's ranges. Maybe I'm spewing a bit, or maybe getting bluffed a lot so need to call lighter in some spots. I've adjusted and called slightly lighter in spots and I've just been shown a better hand each time.
Pretty happy with my play overall but will get my coach to check when he's next available. Still pretty confident in my ability to beat these stakes so will keep putting in the sessions. Rarely am I in spots where I am unsure as to what I have to do, but maybe my problem lies in incorrect assumptions to begin with?
I feel like if I was in villains shoes in a lot of spots I would have played a hand differently and either made more money or lost less. Hands like the ones below which I think I played well overall and just ran bad : ( variance be a hurting! Hopefully it'll turn around soon tho :P

Feeling pretty down atm. My downswing is continuing and unlike before where I literally couldn't hit a flop or win a pot, for the last 3k hands I've got it in good and lost, sigh! At least my actual winnings now pretty much equal my EV earnings.
I began to doubt myself today so went to my DB to try and find spots where I may be ****ing up. I started my comparing my positional results @ 100nl to my 25nl results and I think it's pretty revealing ( although if anyone is more knowledgeable about this kinda stuff then please chime in! ).

To me this speaks volumes and boosts my confidence somewhat. I've pretty much played the same @100nl as I did @25nl. Only difference is 100nl has had more aggro villains so I've called down lighter, defended more etc. So with this said the fact that I'm losing money in the CO and basically doing poorly overall in MP/EP is telling to me that I'm simply running bad and don't have any major leaks.
I mean I 'play' the majority of my hands in BTN/SB/BB and so if those results are on the whole not bad ( although BB needs a lot of work ) and I'm losing the majority of what should be my winnings in the positions that I play the least amount of hands, I think I can mentally chalk that up to run-bad. Although I could be very wrong...!
In past week essentially had a $2k swing which sucks, however 'buyins' wise it's about the same as my biggest downswing @ 25nl. I was speaking with a friend of mine on skype and basically muttering about variance etc complaining about losing and he had a good point.

Puts things into perspective I guess but for some reason I just treat online and live as totally different games, and try to separate the results entirely. 100bb NL zoom is pretty radically different from the 500bb live games I play and that's not even taking into account the player pools xD.
Sorry for wall of text, kinda treating this as a sort of daily blog as well as purely results posting :P I'm down swinging and I find venting therapeutic!
