KQ call and always lose

hey guys. last couple of days went great.



some 100nl in there too. ran great, played okay. i'm very happy about the results but it made me realize yet again that everything is a little tougher when you move up. what i mean is, not only regs are better and there is less fish. but also, in terms of bb, heaters are less big and downswings are bigger. still, all in all my plays are getting better and i'm definitely comfortable. next days/week are gonna be very important mentally, im now used to win vast majority of 200bb+ pots, im tilted every time i dont and yeah im gonna work hard to stay on A game.

life wise things are nice. went snowboarding (completed my first diamond track without falling), i have soccer tonight, reading a great ken follett book and im in the gym 5 times/week. also played live poker. got destroyed obvsly. was talking to a friend about it and i told him its funny how if you spectate a hand, you will see a guy x/c x/c donk river and face a raise on board (AJ5 4 K hhx x h) and hes gonna tank call agonizing with AQ and gonna lose to 55 who b b than raised river. but if i'm playing the hand, i x/c x/c with 9 high flush draw, lead river then call the raise and lose every time. i mean not the best example, even live fish prob dont raise 55 on that river often but you get the picture. im gonna go donate another 2-3 bi in couple of weeks.

hey man nice work - that AQ is kinda interesting to me, how thinly would you adjust your TB value range after that hand, would be interesting / tough to play against bc i know there's a truck load of bluffs in your range otr on this texture and is kinda better for 3Br than caller, esp since he block TJ KT T8 stuff so that makes it a pretty easy fold otr imo - whether you would always triple them is where the fault in his lies (i guess?)

200z this month. i'm also a small winner at 200 reg tables and at 100z. so yeah im still running great, hope it lasts. i haven't studied much lately, i still have a cold so i try to shortened my days. i will probably take a full day off soon to see if it helps. i downloaded league of legends to prove to a friend that i wont like it. i'm convince dota/lol are not my type, i was never big on RTS games and im not a fan of intense competitive environment (for instance ive played a lot of Wow but almost never max level stuff). <-- poker is an exception but its been a while since ive called it a game. i have translated my schedule to english and will post it next update. hands from last couple of days:

hey man. i'm playing for 50k vpps per month. so about 80k hands. 25 days of 2k vpps each month!

hey guys, week is going good. im pretty sure i crushed monday and tuesday but punted 4bi to end tuesday session. played half a session today because i still have a cold (its been 3 weeks somehow) and im trying to kill it. i broke even today, looked at results because i was pissed. nothing in the world makes me angrier that losing 2-6 bi at the end of a poker session. im gonna post a graph next update.

I also saw a guy sitting with 2.3k at 100NL. Some days later I saw him again with a decent stack of about 1.3k. Guess he is running pretty hot :-)

i will call it a month. i was supposed to grind a full session today and tomorrow but half way through a run good session today, i figured i was probably over 10k (ev) for the month and i had to stop and look haha. thats prob a mental leak, not playing the rest of my session today and not playing tomorrow, but i have 80k hands and a bunch of vpps for the month so i don't feel too bad. i ended up losing at all stakes combined (except 200z) so i made over 11k at 200z (ev).

so, including rakeback, ive made 12 905$ this month.

btw those numbers are all EV ajd^ some people will say thats not real results etc but im very much used to talking about results like that. (ofc running above or below EV will not change that haha)

so i'm now pacing my goal. at first i though it doesnt matter much, the 100k goal was mainly because i didnt know what to write as a title for the thread. but ive come to realize it's a pretty nice goal. 100k playing 200nl in 2016 is not super realistic/easy but it's only 3.65bb/100 (not that huge) if i reach my volume goals. also it may motivate me to study more in BE/DS stretches and maybe i'll play/win at 400nl/500z/600nl during the year. so i'll stick with this 100k goal. i ran very good in the second half of the month so lets hope we can have 8-9k months without sunrunning. hands from last few days:
