After years of being a sng player I'm starting to feel the urge to come play cash games due to all these PG&C threads

seems like Canada is the best option as far as cash is concerned as well since you get access to Bovada in addition to every other poker site except like svenska spel or something.

hmm i heard that a lot of countries have their own segregated soft skin, bovada has nice traffic tho so Canada could be among the best indeed. regarding your thoughts about switching to cash, i cannot help you because idk much about sng/mtts. with the rakeback reduced i think lot of sng formats are dead ends on stars? there is cash to be made at cash game but unless you'r good/have descent loads of experience, i would advice dont try poker professionally for obv reasons .


well i think the rake is huge over there so 60 is not that pretty (not sure about this). also hear that ipoker is reg heavy... again im not sure. i might try it, do you recommend a particular skin?

hey guys. not the best week life wise, my gf is not here and i have a cold. had to cancel couple of workout/snowboarding sessions.




poker week is going okay so far. its been a while since ive run over EV, i'll take it. this is all 200z, didnt feel like playing reg tables this week, i spend too much time reg battling or having the opposite of the jesus seat over there. if stars doesnt tackle the scripting issue soon, i might get one. i'm having big mental problems this year, probably due to playing higher. winning at 6bb/100 at 100nl meant if i spew 2 bi at 3/4 of my session, i would go from +5bi to +3. now it means im down 3 instead of 1, or im up 1 instead of 3 if things are going well. anyway you get the picture, so after those spews i'm just crush mentally, because of having yet another BE session or worst but also mistake tilt; im on the river and i know its not a spot/runnout to bluff fish but yea lets go all in anyway or i know this reg wont fold often with the lines we both took but he will sometimes so lets try. the most frustrating thing is grinding nice winnings on A game all day, thinking wow 200z is not easy but im focus and im grinding a solid winrate making good plays etcblablabla.. and then its gone in 25 minutes because im ******ed. i think im making progress tho, if not i will start doing all tendler tips like writing about mental stuff and doing mental reviews etc.

that last hand I like flop turn I would x/c and as played without read a fold, vs some regs I'd find a call/jam some % of time for sure with these blockers.

thx for feedback, i'd check turn most of the time indeed. on the river i would think about the 3 options normally but vs this (and most) villains, folding felt right.

things are still going okay. not bad, not good. sessions i think i won 7-9 bi, i'm winning 3-5, sessions i think i'm a small winner, i lose. like i said before, i'm used to being a big winner at 100nl so its not easy to be a small winner even tho i play more and better than before. but i knew that starting the year, 200nl+ meant more stress, more BE stretches and more work needed away from the tables. less rakeback doesnt help things . considering everything i'm happy to be a small winner at 200z and 200nl reg tables (starting tables), i consider both pretty hard to beat. also i think (hope ) i'm running bad.

gf is getting back from mexico in couple of hours, will do Valentin night sometimes this week (prob cooking and drinking at home, trying to cut restaurant expenses a bit). cant go snowboard much these days, its -40 celcius or something outside (fun). my soccer team lost 7-0 (mercy) last friday, so the game wasnt played entirely which blows because its great cardio. not much going on irl. watching better call saul and suits atm. both very good altho suits has obvious flaws.

I wouldn't think too much about the above two hands,
h2 is obv a snap, you know that villain is probably jamming something like AT+ for value given how stationery people are these days. so 8s is just too far away from even thinking about being a bluffcatcher.

h1 is worth more discussing. think you should be jamming the turn close to 100% for obv reasons if you didn't raise flop which is fine sometimes. Flatting turn just gonna make river play pretty difficult. obv it also depends on villains bet/calling range on the turn, as played river is still a call, I can't imagine villain is not jamming his AJ/AQ combos and AK/KK and worst 2ps often enough for us to fold our hand.
I mean, how does our calling range look like if we fold this hand when we shouldn't be defending QJs pre due to position.

h1: depends on ur notes/stats...does he 4bet small suited aces often and what about 99-TT? Would call bc there are only 4 combos of A3s/A4s and rest he will split or spew.

Must be got_nuts even his location isn't Russia.

Their checking range is well balanced instead of being random

simply, they'r not as bad as 100z regs. less leaks, better balanced in certain spots. they fight more post flop! usual moving up stuff

last couple of days went great. played 200z monday and 100z tuesday (played 100 because i was a bit hangover today. i played live poker with buddies last night, finished up 90$ playing 5nl #balla). havent check results recently so no graph sorry. next update for sure tho. i think im getting very comfortable at 200 altho maybe im just running good in post flop spots. despite thinking 200z is tough overall to beat/play for many reasons, i consider most regs not very good. psyched about second half of the month, 10k in february would be nice!! hands

I never fold KQ in a million years FWIW but maybe that's why you win more money than me. Maaaaaybe if he just never bluffs NFDs here we can fold but he has 20-25 value combos (depending on whether he vbets sets OTR) and we're getting 2.5-1.

i may be result oriented there, not sure. in my experience tho, you always lose with KQ or TT in this spot. in general the pool wont turn a SDV hand into a bluff, and i would say even less in thit spot (and its often a good idea because russians have been calling river bets/raises with any SDV vs anyone on any board). so its hard to find a lot of bluff combos there.
