Super fun night last night with 1 of the Rosa bro's after getting in some decent volume on Merge yesterday. Thatll likely be my last time going out til I get back after my bday in March...just grind time til then!

Feeling pretty good about my play in the Merge ST's, just been marking and reviewing tons of spots to pound the ranges into my head.

Heres yesterday's results, didn't run that well but I'm glad that my redline is going in the right direction!

Decent day so far today, not as much volume as I was really wanting but I studied for ~4 hrs today so not really minding that my hours played is down today. Would rather go through a TON of hh's and my DB making sure my static ranges are on and then making adjustments to other regs.

IIRC, Merge super turbos used to load slower on weekends than weekdays because a lot of guys are MTTing, will be interesting to see how volume is this weekend.

Gl to everyone tomorrow, will put in a PS sesh tomorrow if I wake up early but not really sweating the PS volume atm since my hourly on Merge is going to be 2-3x as high.

And lol, I actually am playing less games/hr than I was before. I'm only loading the first 8 $2s that are already in the lobby when I start my sessions now and then just play $5s-20s, I used to load everything from $2-20 or $2-36.50 and get up to 160 games/hr during peaktime :O.

Given any thought to just staying at home once you're there now that you've decided to resume playing on Merge as your main grind?

Uhhh the thought kinda came through my head but I'm loving Mexico and my RL expenses actually aren't that much more here than back home (as long as I dont party too much here). I'm also stuck in my lease until October 2012 and cashouts happen about 20x faster from Mexico compared to the US which are definitely other factors to consider. Also like having the option to play on pretty much any site that I want from here, I've been playing some stuff on party/ipoker on weekends

Actually will just go through my expenses now to show how cheap it is down here living at a super nice resort, it really is awesome.

Aren't you backed? Obv the way to go is to maximize volume as much as possible, but just curious why you aren't loading above 20s? Obv they are probably reg infested, but still you seem like you could beat the games. Im sure they cant be as tough as 30s on stars. And can you really earn like 5k a month or more from the merge grind without the leader board?

Also what du mean by stuff on ipoker/party, sunday majors or what? It seems like your all over the place, and looks like you need to make some legit goals and stick to them. Maybe dedicate sundays to mtting?

Playing lower variance **** til I get a bit more in my bank accounts, then will be moving up to include 36.50s/52s/103.70s, hopefully starting in April. I've got someone whose interested in backing me for super turbos on Merge up to $500s, so if my current backer doesnt move me up, might have to jump ship

And I include random ipoker/party mtts when I'm playing MTT sessions...I think I've played on each site 3x lol. Just figure might as well add in more sites if I'm just grinding MTTs, which I dont do often.

And Matt, def have spent 3x as much on partying as I have on RL expenses since moving down here. Would love to play the highest stake ****, but its going to be a pain to sell action because nobody has money on Merge so probably just wont be playing many events. Made myself a sched and it came out to $5.5k in bi's but i dont feel like trying to sell $4k worth of events on ****** LOL Merge

Off to bed for the night, just put in a quick $7 hyper sesh on PS (thought merge games would be dead for the night already but just looked and was wrong) as my roommate is grinding 18s and played like ****, didnt hardly put forth any effort . Redline was 3.5% tho so cant complain.
