Internet was pretty lame for most of the remainder of the day, ended up getting a few more games in though and ran another $450 under EV :P.



Ended up getting to meet a few of the new guys at Calafia tonight including a couple of MTT hero's of mine; always cool to finally put a face to a name of guys that you rail at the end of Sunday sessions just because they're fun to watch play/you might learn something from watching them.

Anyway, will probably be off to bed within a couple hours, schedule is pretty messed up atm, hoping that the internet will be good tomorrow and i can put in a solid grind.

long lasting running under ev is an issue of break even players, when your ev roi is at 0-1% its nothing new to run 500+ buyins under it. But i doubt you will find a graph of 500+ buyins under for a player with 3-5% ev roi

so you need to choose, play for profits with better focus/table selection=bigger table winnings, less swings, less rakeback..... or like ITT go for volume trying to break even and make 100k from sne

or profit, volume & SNE tho

Yeah, starting gun is right, higher winrate /= lower variance, it will just make things seem less swingy. The best measure of 'swingyness' is standard deviation divided by winrate, it's a topic discussed a lot over in poker theory.

Pretty sure Jdawg's EV ROI is at like 2% anyway.

Woke up a bit ago, eating and then gonna get on the grind. Hoping to pump out 700+ hyper turbos today.

Paypal account got hacked about 1.5 weeks ago and I just got the confirmation today that I'm going to receive the money back (actually already in my acct) pending me verifying all my info, so that's a relief. It wasn't a tonnn of money or anything like that (not even 1k), but atm I need every penny I can get :P

Moved my setup back into the living room/kitchen area as I got fcked out of probably about $200 or so worth of equity in a session earlier when I lagged for 20 mins straight, really Fing annoying. I'm hoping that moving my setup back out here will just take care of the issue, pretty silly that I didnt have problems for 3+ months with it in my bedroom and I'm just now having issues, but w/e.

Ran decent at hypers today, hopefully this run will continue through the weekend! Planning on getting in 800 games tomorrow, failed today with my internet going out 2x and then had to move my setup and test it out etc, oh well.

Got off to a bit of a late start today and started my day with some 18s/mtts instead of getting straight on the hyper grind. Plan is for 800 hypers today, got in 333 so far and have done decently. Will also unlock another $4000 bonus today which will be nice and is def well needed, will clear a decent bit of my makeup which will be nice.

Will update thread tonight with SNE pace/profits...not really sure how I'm going to track my total profits properly itt anymore though as I lost about 3k during TCOOP this yr but only had a small piece of myself in most of the events, so will have to try to figure out how to get close to accurate on the table profit portion

Well failed at hyper turbo volume as I ran super deep ITM of the $1million freeroll so was 1 tabling forever and concentrating on it. Ended up losing in a standard spot with about 190 left, oh well.

Hit my $4k bonus today and have been profiting decently this week, my makeup was ~7-7.5k earlier this week and I cleared it tonight with the $4k bonus, so pretty happy about that. Sucks that I'm not getting any of that $4k bonus, but at least I'm out of makeup now!

Anyway, plan is for 800 hypers tomorrow, not going to be playing any MTTs the rest of the month as I'd really like to unlock another $4k bonus before I leave for home on the morning of the 27th, but it's going to be a super tough grind to get there because of my shotty internet which cost me about 3-4 days this week.
