Hey guys,

Im gonna transform myself from today: time to learn the skill of self-discipline. Then success will follow.

The purpose of this thread is to make myself accountable and also use it as a CV later when I will apply to backing groups. Im playing spin&gos by the way, but I got **** chipev on 15s (break even). I know I ran **** too, but I also know Im not good enough. I mean I know I can beat it if I'd focus only on poker when Im playing, so I want to improve on my mental game (block every **** like FB, Skype etc, and focus only on poker, think deeply instead of auto-piloting) AND also on my technical game.

It's so ****ing ridiculous that I know what to do to have success, still I dont do it.

We could talk about this topic for hours, but lets get to the point, to my plan:

Goals:
Create the habit of daily learning (for me right now it will be 1hr studying from video, half hour own hand review and half hour "software" game)

Create the habit of focusing 100% when playing - think about the ranges street by street, not autopiloting.

Schedule/daily tasks:

1. When I wake up, I make my bed immidately.
Idea is from that (5.10) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxBQLFLei70
"The wisdom of this simply act has been proven to me many times over:
"If you make your bed every morning, you have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and only to encourage you to do another task and other and other."

2. Cold shower in the morning.
Idea is from one of the threads: https://www.reddit.com/r/getdisciplined/

"To get the most out of it, focus on the negative feelings you experience while making the choice to get into the cold shower. Those feelings that are crying for you to avoid the discomfort are the same feelings that keep you from doing your work when you should. Those feelings are your enemy, and to defeat them you must be conscious of them. Feel them, observe them, hold them in place, and eventually you can control them."

3. In the next 10 days im going to do one hour indoor cycling right in the morning (I will watch poker videos during that). I hope it will give me some "good-feeling boost" in the morning. Unfortunately I have this "warrior gene" (23me showed me so), and if exercising is increasing your dopamine level then it can be super useful for me, as I have lower dopamine level by standard.

Besides that I will train one more time a day: it will be either weight training or boxing.

I want to loose 5 kg in the next 1-2 months because I gained that in the last 7 months, but I will go to a festival in 10 days, so first I plan to do this double-training days until that, then we will see. Because I will be partying pretty hard for 4 days, Im sure after that I will only want to focus on poker, and not spend that much time with training. I will train once a day (weight/running/boxing) and thats it. Im eating clean (again) so the diet part is definitely good and easy for me (during university years i got fatter and fatter, so 3 years ago i changed my diet, lost 15 kg in 3 months and then was eating clean for 2.5 years and lost 6kg more)

4. Read my goals/vision/habits to create to achieve my goals. I know lot of people write it down daily, but my hand writing is aweful and I dont want to write so much everyday. So i will just read that paper in the morning and during the day too if I need.

5. Studying poker: watching video for 1 hour. I will do it actively and make lot of notes. I will then create my own .docs so I can read it daily - hopefully in that way I will learn it more "deeply".

6. Half hour hand review session, to check my hands from previous day and solve the questionable ones. If I can't, I write it down so I can ask it from my coach.

7. Grind 5 hours.

8. Software work: I bought CREV. Im gonna analyze one board daily: check GTO, and also check exploitable plays: how is it solve vs tight or passive opponent, and against aggro ones.

9. I will stretching 15 minutes a day. I will try meditation for 10 mintes a day.

10. NOFAP: my girlfriend went abroad for business trip for 6 weeks, so I will try not to masturbate for 3 weeks (she will came back for the weekend in 3 weeks). I've read about some success stories, that how this helped people, so Im gonna try it.

Thats an interesting topic so im sure we will talk about it later!

10. SLEEPING! I have sleep deprivation for sure. Time to fix it and sleep 8 hours a day.

11. Clean my stuff immidately, and be more tidy. Im going to clean my dishes immidately after eating, also I will pack my stuff to their places and not mess up the room all the time. I know where is the place for my clothes/stuffs etc, probably just lazy to do it, so well, time to get disciplined and just make that 5 seconds move.

12. I will block websites for certain periods, quit Skype too when Im playing. I will spend much less time on FB, and also I will reduce useless browsing. I will think about it how much time will I allocate for FB+news reading a day.

Im going to sleep now, its almost morning. I can't wait to get up and turn around my life

GL OP! If you fall off the wagon just get right back on brother. You seem very motivated which is awesome for short term - Discipline is for the long term and I think you have a great plan in place!
