For the last few months, I have been playing cash at 25 and 50nl. Basically went from 1k to 1900 in 250k hands including rb so I almost broke even without rb. I was going for sn multitabling like a madman, but I realised that I had to change my plan. I had always been playing mtts, but I had to change lately because of school, work and workouts. *About a week ago or so, I realised that the 180 mans offered almost as much flexibility as cash games as they only take 75 mins or so. Also, I think they will help my game alot in late stages of mtts. My plan right now is to play 2.5 and 8$ 180s along with turbo mtts for weekdays and bigger mtt sessions on weekends. I currently up to 22s on a regular basis along with bigger ones on sundays etc. Won't be posting graphs right now as I only have 300 games or so.

Goals:
1k 180 mans / month
2k mtts total / month
20% roi on stars by start of 2012 ( currently at -25% or so)
20k br by summer of 2012 when I turn 21. Deposited 1k on stars 2 months ago and have 3100 or so right now.
Also currently staking and coaching players for mostly mtts and mttsngs *with bw235 on stars.
I hope to have a total of 8 players by the end of the year.

Will be updating a few times a week.

Tomorrow is my first big sunday session in a while, so I am selling a package to reduce variance for bigger buy ins than I usually play. Here is the thread and will be posting rail thread so you can watch me win the sunday mill.

So, unfortunately, my big sunday didn't turn out as planned. I ran like hell all day long. Only managed to cash once in my package which sucks. Only deep run I had was like in the smallest mtt I played or almost the smallest, in a 3.3 freeze which I got 20th or so after coming back from 1bb and losing a 45bb pot JJ< 7 aipf.

Anyways, happy that I didn't tilt all day long and even tho I didn't play my A game all the time, I played ok for the amount of volume I put.

I managed to lose about 500 on the day, but since I sold shares I was down 150 or so total.
I think I'll post a pic of my 180 mans every 250 games.

Was planning to play mostly 180s today, but couldnt contain myself to play some mtts on the side. Started with mostly 180s and it went pretty terrible as the only cashes I had were 8th or 9th or min cashes. After playing for about 6 hours, this happened.

I got hu with the last player probably in the whole tourney I would of wanted to, but I was still hu. Started with a 2-1 chip lead, but as things went on, I lost a big flip where he got me to a 2-1 deficit. Few hands later, I open jammed 3s for a little less than 15bb and got called by 6s. Ohh well, still my biggest score in a few months and it gets my confidence up to continue playing mtts.

BR: 5050$

Even with this big bankroll bost, I am not going to play much bigger. I will mostly be playing 1-20$ mtts with a few big 55s. I am going to wait to have at least 1000 180mans done before I start mixing in the 15s as I still need to learn to play them better.

Still a very good day and hopefully it's going to be the first of many 4 figure scores.

Today was a pretty bad day overall as I cashed in 2 out of 40 180mans. I felt like I was playing ok but not great and just couldnt get any good stacks going deep. As for other mtts go, it was bettee moneywise but probably tiltier (is that even a word) anyways you know what I mean. Finished in the top 80 or so in the 8$ 12k gtd after loosing an 80bb race vs a fish. Also got 20th/1000 in a 7.5$ turbo where I lost a big 60/40 and then wen t crazy with the agression by jamming all the time untill my k7s mp jam got called by the bb's kj. Ohh well, tomorrow's another day and ill be back to playing my a game in no time.

OK, small update since rly nothing great happened. Played about 250 games between yesterday and today and lost a bit I think. Yesterday, I came very close to a big score in the 5$ 2r1a 30k gtd, but I jammed 15bb with 6s after a fish limped utg. He had JJ and I was out in 20th place or so. Oh well, at least it went alot better in the 180s. Also started playing a few steps 2 days ago because I was bored before work and didn't have time to play some 180s. Now I'm stuck with 3 82$ steps and 1 27e step I am unsure what to do with.

UPDATE:
Wasn't rly planning on playing today sinced I worked and I went out yesterday bla bla bla, but I had to have my little nightly turbo mtt/mttsng session. Started pretty well in a few things, but nothing too exciting. Then a few hours later I find myself at the softest FT I have ever been at. Came in 3/9 or something, but there were a huge fish to my left that always flatted my opens (we were like 20-25bb average) so I had to stay calm untill we were 4 or 5 left. Can't rly remember the hands from 5-3 but I know that when we were 3 handed I was having walks 8/10 times, it was ridiculous. Anyways the fish who walked me all the time ko'd the 3rd player and we were hu with about 20bb each. The last hand happened when I opened the btn with JJ and he flatted. Flop came QQ4ss and I jammed over his check raise to see him call with Q2s. Ohh well, payouts were rly flat so I'm still happy with 2nd even through it would be fun to win once in a while.

Hey guys, it's been a while since the last update because I havn't put a whole lot of volume in. Played a bit of live poker along with some cash games on a fishy Canadian website. Decided to update today because I got another small ft. Finished 3rd in a 7.5 turbo for about 750. Pretty happy that my last 4 fts in 1k+ field mtts I finished top 3 instead of the usual 9-6th. Live poker has been very nice to me in the past days since I got my biggest winning day at 2/5NL with about 1600$ profit in a 500$ max bi game. It was just insane, went from 500 to 2k in like half an hour then hovered around this amount for a few hours till I decided to leave when the game dried up. Also got a few other small wins in those games during the last weel. Going to be playing more live in the following months for the times I don't have much time to play all the mtts I would want to. When I play online mtts, I would like to play for at least 8-10 hours, playing all the big guarantees tourneys like the big 55 etc instead of only playing the turbos and 180s. (will still be doing that, but might mix in a litle more live play)

OK, its been about a month since I started playing mtts again. It obv has gone great and it exceeded all of my expectations. I feel like my mtt game is better than it has ever been. I am pretty disapointed with my online mtt volume this month. I played 1113 mtts/mttsngs according to hem for a 3450$ profit witch is great imo. Still played 105 hours this month which is good and I feel like in the following months, I will be playing about 40-60h a month online and 40-60h a month of live play. Didn't accomplish any of my volume goals this month, but I think they were RLY optomistic. So for this month I will set new goals, balancing online and live play.

1- Play 60h of live play (have 250h played by 2012)
2- Have a 30$/h wr live by 2012 ( have 5$/h after 75h coming back from a 3.5k ds)
3- Play 1k mtt/mttsng and profit
4- Train at LEAST 2x a week

Also, one of my horses just chopped the bigger 5$ today for 5.1k and I got 1.5k of that score after sharing with partener. Pretty good day for not playing a hand .

BR is an approximation because I often withdrawl some cash from seperate bank account when I need cash to play live and deposit some when I have alot online etc. BR written here is only poker roll not life roll.

Wow, I missed out on so many big cashes today. Got 6th in an 8$ turbo with 1.8k up top losing a flip for chip lead. Then I got 7th in the 5 2r1a with 2.6k up top after chip leading the whole way, lost my AK vs AQ with like 12 left, would have been chip leading with 2.1m and second with about 700k. Ended up jamming KJ into JJ. Finished 10th in a 13.5 ko turbo with 2k up top losing KQ to 9s. Also got 30th or so in the 10r 70k gtd with 13k up top after losing 9s vs a5 aipf. Pretty sick day, was sure I was going to get a big score, even tho I only played 25 or so mtts. Ohh well my first 5 figure score will come soon I can feel it.

Current BR: about 10.6k

Going to play live thursday and sat + maybe online friday, ill see how I feel.

Quick update, pretty tilty few days. Played live thursday and yesterday. Thursday I played in a fishy 5/5 game and lost 1k on my second hand after flopping trips vs a fh with AK on KK7 in a 3b pot. Then rebought and climbed all the way back to up 700 from down 1k. Few hands later I flop a set with 2s on 2 5 8ss flop where theres 300 or so in pre. Checks to me I bet 175 btn flats sb jams for 600 I rejam for 1k eff vs btn. Btn thinks for like 5 mins and calls. I show my set and he doesnt move. Board runs out 10 K r. I'm like sick ship the 3k pot. Sb shows JJ and btn rechecks his cards and then flips over 5s for a bigger set. Always fun to get slowrolled for the biggest pot I ever played. Finally left up 200 or so.
Yesterday, I started up like 800 at 2/5 after running like GOD. Lost all of my profits in a wierd hand where I had QQ in a double straddle vs AK and AA. Then few hands later, I was a little tilted and straddled to 10. Table limps, bb raises to 25, I flat 62s hoping for a miracle flop. Table calls. 200 or so in pre. Flop 223. Checks to btn who bets 125. I flat and the rest fold. Turn A, I check. He jams for 300 or so. I call and he shows me 45 for the straight . Left being down 500 and super tilted.
This morning played a few sats and hyper sats and ended losing another 500 or so. Think its good that I work tonight because I need a break.

Current BR: about 10.1k

Would want to buy a watch soon if I'm doing well. Probably going to wait chrismas or so and see if I am still doing good. Went to check a bit, but the only one I like was this one

and it's like 2.5k which is a bit too much. Would like to pay around 700-1k for it. Any suggestions for watches that look a bit like this one.

Small update after another bad mtt session. Played only a small session and ended finishing 20th or so in a 55 with 6k up top. Other than that nothing to say rly other than I hope tomorrow will be better. Will be playing a small mtt night tomorrow and most likely live this weekend.

God did I miss out on a big score today. Finished 6th in a 55$ with 6.9k up top. Made a questionnable play to get kod. I 4b the btn after a bb 3b by an aggro opponent and he woke up with JJ. Thing is that I had 40bb or so and it was a bit of an overbet shove. Sucks, finished 20th yesterday and 6th today. Ohh well, I guess ill ship it next time.

Also shipped a 2e donkament for 300e or 410$. Was rly fishy the whole way, especially hu where my opponenet open jammed 35bb with Q5 into my A10 or something.

Current br: 10.7k (should have been close to 15k

Small update to say that I played live for the last 2 days and played absolutely horrible. Idk what was going on, but I couldnt concentrate, misread stacks and stupid stuff like that. Ended down about 400 for the 2 days, but I should have been up a whole bunch. Anyways decided not to play live tommorow and play a big online session. Will take a small live break this week and come back focused and ready to play my best. I really cant afford to play in live games for a big chunk of my br when I don't feel confident about my game.

On a side note, my online mtt game is as sharp as it has ever been and I feel a big score coming soon.

Played basically every mtt 55 and under today + the big 162s and 109s and I ended down about 1k overall after 142 mtts which is pretty tilty because I had good stacks in a bunch of the big tourneys but just couldnt win flips etc. My abi for today was 18$ which I will try to lower down a bit to about 10$ or so by cutting the 162s and 109s. Won a 27$ ko for about 1k, but that was my only big cash of the day. Got top 64 in the sunday duel, but played pretty bad the last match.

In the past following days, I feel like I have been playing alot of the 55s and over tourneys and alot of the 44 turbos which I feel like I should be cutting down on even tho I have a pretty big roll for those tourneys. In the following weeks, I will be giving myself a new goal.

I want to play 2000 180 mans by the end of december. Along with that, I will be playing any turbo mtt lower than 20$ plus some big guarantees like the 11r and big 55 and other big guarantee non turbo 55$. I won't be playing any 109 or 55 turbo other than big sundays like the big 10m sunday mill. Since I will be playing online 4 days a week or so, that makes me 26 days untill the end of the year. That comes up to 76 180man for the days I play. Also, I hope to be able to get the 50k vpp milestone (I'm 13.4k away as of today so I don't think I will be able to get it, but its not too bad.)

Ok, so first day of the 180 man grind didn't go as planned. Started good with a bunch of good stacks, but ran rly bad and couldnt do anything with those stacks. Played a few 15s for the first time because I couldnt get alot of games running (not sure 4 games in 2 hours or so will help my volume alot but ohh well.)

Finally turned around my 3-4 day downswing (lol I know I am going to want to die when I get a real downswing). Anyways started the day with the big 55 in which I got 80th or so after making a questionnable 3b call with a8s only to see him show up with AK. Pretty sure he could show up with worse, but not too often. Anyways after that, I finished 2nd in a 3r 180man which I should of won. Lost a 60/40 for the win and then couldnt come back from the 5/1 deficite.

Then, the real dissapointment came from the 2$ 6max turbo. We were on the ft bubble and field was rly weak. I had about 50bb and raised the btn only to jam over a big sb 3b. My ak was looking good on the flop vs his AJ, but when he turned a fdraw, I just knew he would get there and he did. He was first with 2.5m and I had 2.4m and there were about 8m chips in play and I just had bubbled a rly soft tourney for 100$ when first was 1.3k.

At the same time, I found myself at the ft of the 27$ ko that I won on sunday. The ft was rly weak yet again. Got second for 700 or so only because the other big stack at the ft was to my direct left and I couldnt open as much as I would otherwise have.

I felt rly good about today in mtts, but I dont know what happened in 180s since I started 1/32 in cashes.

Tomorrow is work day
Then Thursday, I will probably go play live.

Small update today since I played live today and yesterday. Ended pretty good overall as I won about 500$ over both days. Games were rly bad and that's why I only played about 6-7 hours in 2 days over thurs and friday. Games should be really good right now since the bad beat jackpot is close to the biggest it has ever been (attracts fish) and thurs/fri should be some of the best days of the week.

Anyways still unsure if I play live or online tomorrow.
