With notecaddy, you can create all sorts of definitions that you don't have in HM2. An example may be betsizing tells; you can create a definition for when someone bets 1/2 pot and assign them a range under top pair or a weak draw, and it will show how often this person is weak when he cbets 1/2 pot. There are many other advantages besides making your own definitions that aren't in HM2. You can create spark graphs*http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...park+Graphs%3F. These are really helpful for a lot of definitions. You can make spark graphs for different betsizes on the river for example. If someone bets full pot at you, you can quickly glance at this popup where the spark graph is and see if they are only doing it for value, bluffs, or merging their range. Also with notecaddy you can create badges for any of your custom definitions. These show up on your main HUD, and are quick references to find leaks to exploit your opponents. The badges are very helpful for me because it allows me to plan my hand in advance much more easily, which I think is a huge benefit.
What Notecaddy Edge does is puts together a comprehensive package of definitions and badges for notecaddy, so that you don't have to spend hours and hours and hours putting it together. Several people have told me in Skype that it is well worth the money and more, which I think it is, compared to other products out there (which I don't think are as good). Once someone can memorize a lot of the information in the package, that person will have a wealth of information that the opponents don't have, or don't have time to find.

Altough there is a user forum this dosnt seem to have a lot of traffic at the moment, now whether this is because its relatively new or because buyers are just keeping quite about the success they are having with this product!! Ill let you decide, I know what I think.
However that said, my support question to the forum was answered the same day, so at the moment support is excellent.
Installation was a breeze, theres very detailed instructions on how to install the package, depending on the size of your HM database you can be up and running within the hour.
As well as the install instructions you get over 20 pages of very detailed notes explaining every badge and definition used in the package. If that wasn’t enough info Nostrakan also tells you how to play against a person with or without a particular badge.
As I said before this is a truly awesome professional package, very well presented and put together. I think at the time of writing this, the price is still $99 so if you need to improve your game this would be the best $99 you could spend.

Well, I had my first two sessions using NCE now, and as said in previous reviews it´s a complex product, which does need some time to get the maximum out of it. What I did, I took the badges I found most useful and intuitive and started from there. I looked at my tables to see villains with these badges and it did indeed help me in some way. For instance I did 5-bet bluff shove once successfully in a spot in which would normally would have folded. Once I decided not to float, because a batch said, that my villain is 3-barrel bluffing a lot (over a huge sample size). And there are a few more examples.
In the beginning of my first session, I was a little confused by all the batches. I reduced tables, and I had the definition document opened, just to be sure. After the second session I was much more familiar with the meaning of most batches, so I think within a week I will be able to just grind.
Still, as mentioned above, NCE won´t make you a winning player, because NCE aquires knowledge that only good players might have. And I still think, that your decisions should be based on board textures in first placs and HUD-stats in second place. But when it comes to critical situations it´s really really good to have additional info that NCE provides. Obviously these are also most often the most expensive decisions.

There are a couple people that bought NoteCaddy Edge that use it for PLO. A few of the definitions would need to be adjusted, like definitions dealing with overbets, and definitions that show top pair as being a value hand. That being said, most definitions will work perfectly for PLO. Please let me know if you have any other questions
We are now up to 164 total definitions and 45 badges. Some new ones that were added that I really like are detailed 3bet spark graphs for position vs position. These are really helpful in my opinion to show exactly what kind of range someone is 3betting you with for Big Blind vs. Small Blind, Button vs. Cutoff, Cutoff vs. Early Position, etc. These were another idea from a customer that were implemented.
We'll keep adding new definitions regularly that we believe are helpful. We'll also listen to all feedback to help us improve NoteCaddy Edge in any way possible.
I really can't imagine playing without this package anymore. I realize now that there were so many times that I made plays before without having the information that I needed. Every move I make with this package has a stat or a definition to back it up, making pretty much all of my plays the most +EV possible in the long run.
We have a monster update coming out tomorrow. It will have 22 new awesome definitions and 1 new badge. This will bring us to 186 definitions and 46 badges now.
We've also made some major changes to our popups that we hope all of you will really like. We've put the NoteCaddy definitions that don't have spark graphs or show hand ranges into the top part of the popups. This allows much more room in the popup for new stats. We also made everything bold that is for a 3bet pot or higher, and we made the NoteCaddy numbers for the stats white in color to distinguish easily which stats are using NoteCaddy definitions in the popup.
