Re: Notecaddy Edge - Add-on package for notecaddy

Hi Nostrakhan,

I am seriously considering NCE. I mostly play 27man, 45man and 180 man SNGS. Do you think the sng package is for me, or should i wait for the mtt package?

I ask since it says on your website that this package is mostly aimed at STT players. Cheers.

Hi mattsim23,

Thanks for your interest in NoteCaddy Edge! That's a good question. You'd probably see some benefit from the SnG package, but I think the MTT package would even more beneficial. If you want to try the SnG package first, I can switch you to the MTT package later as well

Sincerely,
nostrakhan

2nd place: kicak - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=262
A very impressive graph with a lot of winnings, but the reason for 2nd instead of 1st is we didn't get to see how NCE had improved his game if it did from before. Nonetheless, still kicak is crushing at the tables, and will win: 2nd: 30 custom definitions built exactly as you want them or 1.5 hours notecaddy training.

I'll keep the 3rd place option open for the next week, so it'll expire on October 23rd, 12am EST.

The time frame won't expire for the winners for when they can redeem their prizes. I suggest to take a week or two to think of the definitions you want, or to think of questions for the NoteCaddy training if you want to go that route. Thanks for participating!

Sincerely,
nostrakhan
Hi,

Looking into buying NCE so was reading through the thread. People posting graphs isn't going to influence my decision either way. However, the 2 examples you have shown above seem like strange choices. In the first one all that the before and after graphs show is that using NCE may have changed his style of play but the winrate in both graphs is exactly the same. In the second example there is no 'before graph' to compare it with. Anyway, seems like you have a lot better feedback from users in general compared with the more expensive NCA so i'll prob give it a whirl.

Hi loosefoot,

I was hoping to have some more choices to choose from, but these were the only people that participated. Maybe we'll run another promotion in the future to see if anybody else has any interest in showing off their results

I'm quite confident that if you spend the time to learn NCE, it'll give a nice boost to your winrate and your confidence at the tables in the long run. People that use NCE have way more useful information than nearly everybody that they'll be playing against.

I hope you do give it a try

Sincerely,
nostrakhan

Does this come with a preset hud to take advantage of NCE? Or this is just notes?

Hi Hockeyfreak,

Thanks for the question! Yes the Holdem and PLO packs each come with 3 HUDs to choose from. The SnG pack comes with 1 HUD. These HUDs are all set up with badges and popups attached

Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi TomaTe,

Our SnG pack will help a bit with Hypers, but I can't recommend it specifically for Hypers right now. However, in the future I plan to add some more specific Hyper definitions for it. There's still a few things I need to finish first, like releasing our Holdem Essentials and MTT packs though.

If you have any other questions, let me know anytime

I found the hud but every stat I hover over has the exact same popup (the preflop one).

Re: Notecaddy Edge - Add-on package for notecaddy

It works with lite hud so it's good.

What does SRP stand for?

What's the difference between 3b and resteal?

Lastly, when you establish that someone is weak, do you take into account the times he folds or you do you only look at showdowns.

For instance, in your definitions if you say he check raises light, does that mean that you assumed he was light the 40% of the time he was reraised and folded or do you only look at the times you actually saw his hand at showdown and therefor only saw 60% of his hands?

Hi Hockeyfreak,

SRP stands for Single Raised Pot.

3bet can be any 3bet, but for a resteal to be valid the original raiser must be from a steal position (CO, BN, SB).

For the WEAK definitions, implicit weakness is taken into account, meaning that if the person folds in the hand it is considered WEAK. Also it includes the hand strength in the definition if the person doesn't fold.

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask

Sincerely,
nostrakhan

Hi,

The developer of NoteCaddy was kind enough to give us a private subforum on his NoteCaddy forum. You'll have to register with the email that you purchased NoteCaddy Edge with to post there. Here's a link: http://assaultwareforums.com/forumdi...NoteCaddy-Edge

Only NCE users can see this forum, so if there's anything you want to keep on the down-low from the general public, feel free to use this forum

Re: Notecaddy Edge - Add-on package for notecaddy

Hi,

NoteCaddy Edge Holdem Essentials was just released. This package has 240 note definitions, and the same badges as the bigger Holdem pack (now named Ultimate). Ultimate is now $199, and Essentials is $99. To view the popups included and get a list of the definitions in Essentials, you can go here: NoteCaddy Edge Holdem Essentials - Learn More

Everything else is the same, besides the popups and many less definitions.

If you want to switch from the bigger Holdem package down to the Essentials package, just shoot me an email edge@notecaddy.com. It's free to switch, and it's free to switch back if you've already purchased before.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know

Sincerely,
nostrakhan

Hi Hockeyfreak,

The installation instructions are in the email. I will post them here for you in the case that you don't have the email anymore:

Here are the instructions for first time install:

1) Download the .zip file from your email
2) In NoteCaddy choose Tools / Import / Import Coaching Package, and choose the file that you downloaded from your email.
3) Go to NoteCaddy / File / Settings and set Threads to maximum and make sure Use Turbo Hand Grabber is checked.
a) If you want notes to be taken on yourself so that you can view your leaks, make sure this option in checked in NoteCaddy / Settings / Note Settings / Add notes for hero.
4) Go to File / Reset Notes in NoteCaddy and then click Create notes for unprocessed based on active definitions.
5) Import the HUD(s) that you want to use. Go into HM2 / HUD Options / Import and choose the HUD that you want from your NoteCaddy Coaching Pack Files folder on your desktop.
6) Check out the PDF files in your NoteCaddy Coaching Pack Files on your desktop, especially the Badges Explained document.
7) Import the HM2 AutoRate rules if you want to use them. Just follow the instructions in the AutoRate PDF file.

Re: Notecaddy Edge - Add-on package for notecaddy

Just wanted to give my quick review about this product.

It's definitely worth the buy.

Here's some reasons why:

-nostrakhan is constantly updating it
-The badges are easy to understand. He did a really good job at color coding it, etc.
-The support is most impressive. He gets back to you almost instantly
-The hud pop ups have a crazy amount of useful information on them. Everything you need

IMO this is a must to buy for any serious grinders.

Did I mention the support is the best? It literally feels the guy is on skype 24-7 to answer questions instantly and he's super friendly.
