Really looking forward to this book, got a feeling that it will be re-read a few times and that can not be said about most of the other poker books I got. Great book which allowed me to get rid of tilt and improve my decision-making a lot. I play low stakes HU sngs and my biggest mental leak was rematching good opponents after I lost a match to them (revenge-tilt). I'm beating these low stakes and 90% of villains decline a rematch. What tilted me most was when a thinking (or semi-thinking) player wanted a rematch, apparently thinking I'm a fish (which I am but def not by low stakes standards). Now I always decline rematches v thinking villains, irregardless of the result and I don't give a **** anymore whether they think they're better than me or not. I'm sure this approach allows me to increase my win rate a lot.

I think it only takes a couple of days to get onto kindle format, and thousands more will buy

My review:

After getting my copy and having read the book, I have thought a lot about what I was going to write for a ‘review’. I know it sounds cliché, but I really do not want anyone to read this book. I have heard that said about several poker books, but I have never shared that opinion regarding the value of those books.

If you have gotten this far into a forum and have read this review this far, then you must do yourself a favor and buy this, read it, study it and apply it. I don’t want you to because you will be a better opponent.


What Jared did in this book, is make the assumption that the reader is able to understand advanced thinking concepts and offer a guideline to help the reader as much as they are willing to invest of themselves.


This book has given me numerous eye-opening revelations into my own thinking and is helping me not only at the poker table. I believe honestly that this book is invaluable, and I won’t be able to give a full assessment until further down the road after I have applied a lot of the learning to my game and life.


While it does pull on several testimonies, it doesn’t come across as a sales pitch for his service, but rather as a, “here is what I know & what I think can help poker players, and I think I can put it that in a digestible read.”

That is something he has succeeded at.

just ordered the book jared. all the reviews seem very favorable, and i can't wait to read it.

Ordered mine from his site on Sunday, I assumed was dispatched on Monday (although never received an email to that effect despite it being said in another mail I would) and it arrived on Tuesday. Shipped from Sheffield to Scotland.

Only read the Intro but already I'm really looking foreword to reading the chapters and applying trying to apply the concepts in each. Like others have said I almost don't want to recommend this book because then others will be able to improve an aspect that has become such a requirement of our game and in turn affects our entire game. Unless you have a masters in psycology or your brain is nothing more than an organic computer totally devoid of all emotion, you will get something out of this book!

On another note because of the layout and formatting of the book I can see how it's probably a bit of a pain in the ass to get a kindle version put together.

I was fortunate enough to purchase one of the $29.95 copies of this book that was going cheap because of supposed printing errors, but upon receiving my copy I could see nothing wrong with it! You were certainly generous to sell your book so cheap with what I could only assume are microscopic imperfections.

Jared was a pleasure to deal with, and put aside a copy for me even though I couldn't come up with the cash until a week later. It arrived fast (in Australia) and like I mentioned was in mint condition.

I have not been able to focus on poker seriously for some time, but before I once again prepare to get my butt back in the grinding chair, I will be sure to read this book from cover to cover, as from what I have read so far, it would be foolish not to. Really takes previous material on mental game, mindset theories etc to a much deeper level.

Can't currently find it at Amazon.ca, get on the phone with those canadian jerks!
