From June 2008 - April 2010, $3/$6 NLH was my main game and I beat that level at exactly 5.76ptBB/100 (11.52bb/100) (the absolute highest winrate at that level on Pokerstars for any significant volume.)
In April 2010 I moved from $3/$6 to $10/$20 as my main game. I beat $10/$20 at 4.86ptBB/100 (9.72bb/100) and had the #1 highest amount of winnings at that level of any Pokerstars player for 2010 (and #2 in the world among all tracked sites.)
I am a former high school math teacher and have been playing poker full time since June 2008. I have a master's degree in secondary math education, so my background lends myself to being a good teacher. As of the end of 2011, I have coached 75 players in NLH. I have created this thread to tell you about my TWO new video series that are currently for sale.

I have released the first of a few FREE short instructional videos which will ONLY be available on my Facebook page and will be available to my Facebook fans ONLY. It will not be posted here.
The current free video will only be available for a short window and has nothing to do with either of my video series.
I'll be running more "For Facebook Fans Only" promotions like this in the future as well.
If you LIKE YourDoomPoker on Facebook, in addition to these free videos, you'll also get super fast updates on important poker news and links to my favorite poker articles and hands.

After going to your website I see why you are not mentioning the price anywhere............ Imagine its a good product given your background / statistics, however price-point is going to be tough for many I imagine.

Hey Do Not Blink,
Thanks for the note.
It may seem pricy at first glance. I mean, I understand that many recreational micro players may not have the means to invest in these high-end series.
But both of my video series feature privileged knowledge that is not available or taught (to my knowledge) anywhere else on this planet - which is very unusual for a video series.
For any serious player, even at small stakes, they are well worth the investment and imo these series are an absolute steal at only €397.
Like I say in the free sample, if you're a NL200 grinder and this series can raise your winrate by just 1ptBB/100, that's a €40,000 value over your next 1M hands, which is over 100 times return on your investment right there.

I use to play a lot bigger then you. I know who you are and how you came up in the msnl forums. I think the price is steep given todays online climate. I could be wrong, but dont think I am. You say grind 1mm hands as if that were an easy task and with all the other sources out there to improve your winrate justifying spending this money on such a specific scenario seems at the very least --- questionable.
when aejones was coming out with his memoirs. games were easier and making/spending 5k was a lot less of an opportunity cost then todays climate. given that this information is so specific and im sure its still okay/decent but only covers one facet of nl holdem, just a 40bb stack (which dont get me wrong is still useful info to look at), nevertheless, i could think of a few players that would benefit a lot from this information but for the general target market you have failed. And the pricing should be reflected by your lack of sales, unless you anticipated to only sell to a few at higher markup instead of getting the most $$ for your information. not sure how much this stuff gets pirated. At the very least I''d be useful in seeing if your information was even good but I dont want to spend the $347, and havent studied 40bb effective stacks deeply but think I do alright against them except the really good ones probably now could have an edge, but at the same time i played on sites other then stars where playing deeper could still make you a lot of money and you dont really have to worry to much about these stacks (again, nonstar sites) . and these sites still exist today, non stars, 100bb+ effective stacks at slightly higher stakes.

Hey User,
Thanks for the thoughts.
I'm actually incredibly pleased by the number of sales of both of my series to this point. My sales have already shattered my upper goal of where I wanted to be by now.
I ask people to write their reviews and feedback in my main coaching thread here which is why you don't see a lot of activity in this particular thread.
Honestly and truly (and this is 100% genuine and absolutely not any kind of sales pitch,) if I could go back and rerelease the 40BB series, I would have set the price at 497 euro. I believe that I priced it way too low for the amount of unique privileged knowledge that's in the series that cannot be found anywhere else. I was thinking of raising the price until I was talked out of it here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=289
With regards to piracy, all of my videos are digitally signed and invisibly watermarked with the customer's info, so if they were to show up anywhere else, I would know who to go after as I have all of my customers full names, credit card info, etc, on file.
But having said that, it's my experience that people are generally good-hearted, honorable and don't try to steal from me. Which I am thankful for since I'm just an honest guy trying to make an honest living.
If you're playing against 40BB stacks now User, then I'll invite you to purchase the series and see how beneficial it can truly be to your game. If you don't like the series or feel you've gained no value from watching it I will give you all of your money back. I have always offered a full 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Ryan, i liked your series but i disagree with the way you justify your prices. I also think your revenues would be higher with a lower price in the long run. Your price should be set based off of how it compares to your competitors similar products in the market, and that is how you should justify your product (Convince us that your $500 series is more valuable than a $500 blue fire subscription). You often say things like, " well this series can increase your winrate by 1BB/100 which means 50k over your next 1 million hands!" which is an awful way to justify your product, and i dont think that your series can fully take credit for a persons winrate over their next million hands and obviously any player would develop themselves over that amount of hands. When IBM comes out with a new computer that is 20% faster than any competitor they dont say, "Well this computer is 20% faster and will last 4 years so this will increase your overall productivity by 20% at work, which will be equivalent to $50k in human capital over this period. Therefore our prices of 400 euros in of good value." I think you will soon realize that its more important to have more liquidity and a larger amount of customers as well as having profound reputation vs having a small customer base which is attracted by heavy marketing. You have a good product and its not going to get out there to as many people as it should at this price. Your products are like macbooks. They are really a great product, but there prices are really overpriced based off of quality when comparing to the best competitors but the great marketing allows them to sell it like crazy .
Overall though, I think you have great videos and i enjoyed them alot and don't regret my purchase ( though im more fortunate than most to beable to splurge that kind of money on a video series). Best of luck and will taking a look at future video series.

Reason: recommend his product to any 50-600NL player that is comfortable with the price

Hey pokerman! Thanks for the recommendation of the series! I'm glad that you are happy with your purchase
It is not my style to say anything negative about other training sites or other competitors, so all I will say as a general warned aimed at no one specific, is to be careful who's training videos you watch and what poker advice you take.
Personally, I prefer to only make video series on advanced, cutting edge content that is not available anywhere else in the world.
So one could say that my material has no competitors, since the info is not available anywhere else.
Here's some feedback on the Blinds series from a customer that I received just a few days ago:
Quote:
" Very cool series, these videos are more informative then getting a full membership to a site (I've sampled bluefire, leggo, and CR) where they hire a bunch of breakeven coaches whom I wouldnt allow to watch me play or high stakes HU players that arn't able to articulate their thoughts very clearly (or choose not to)..."
The bottom line is I know how to play , I know how to teach and the info I'm selling is not available anywhere else in this world.
Brand new updated results of my recent play are now available here:
