very loose/crazy game 3bet sizing oop

recently found a home game that runs 1/2 a few nights a week which is very very loose and there's really maybe only one or two decent players at the table, the rest are just gambling. pf raises usually range from 12-25 depending on who's playing and it's not uncommon for pf raises of 20-30 to get 2+ callers. you can also straddle any amount on the button or utg.

there's a button straddle for $12. the button is easily the loosest player at the table and will often make really random plays that make no sense just for the hell of it. if he likes his hand he will call any amount preflop regardless of position, he recently straddled all in on the button for 110bb (folded around...CO in the hand had ace rag and thought for a minute before folding. i think i'd have to snap call there). button has 160bb.

sb is a tight/bad younger indian guy with $28 left and shoves.

i'm in the bb with JJ and just under 100bb. how much are you raising in this spot? there's a good chance if one person calls my raise at least one other will follow regardless of the size (the button would call with any 2 if anyone else calls because hes getting 3 to 1).

Is a plan of 75 and ship any flop without an ace spew? Sets this up nicely while 55-60 leaves us too much behind with akward stack to pot ratios depending on # of callers.

75+ will most likely fold out everyone including btn, leaving you heads up with only 70 in the middle against an all in

50-60 is close to a minraise of the allin, and only 5x of the btn straddle, and if he likes his hand enough will easily call this, which is exactly what we want

Depends on how the others are with calling AI's pf. I mean, if I think there's a good chance of them calling behind I'm shoving. In a more normal game I'll reraise to say about 70 and shove any flop that isn't horrible.

Re: very loose/crazy game 3bet sizing oop

in this session i have seen more than one player stack off PF multi-way for over 100bb with JJ, AJss, and 88. they really don't take stack size into consideration preflop they just see a hand they like and get it in if there's a big raise or a lot of action before them. they also have no concept of image or adjusting based on how tight/loose someone is. i am a complete nit in this game just waiting for big hands because i will get action every single time. the first night i played there i was playing like...top 5% and constantly showing down big hands and still getting tons of action when i open UTG to $25. this is a 1/2 game.

Re: very loose/crazy game 3bet sizing oop

i thought about $50-55 at first but i've seen a $50 3bet still get multiple callers and i really didn't want to play jj oop against multiple people in that big of a pot. how bad am i for preferring to just isolate the sb and take his money than risking going 3-4 ways oop with less than a psb? tbh if i had more of a roll i wouldn't be worried about it and normally i wouldn't be playing cash at all (i've just been going to the casino and playing a $150 tournament every payday because i can comfortably afford to lose it and if i bink i have my roll for cash) but it's just such a soft soft game that i feel like it's impossible to lose short of a complete cooler/beat. if i were properly rolled to play cash i wouldn't have had to give it much thought but given that i only brought one 100bb buyin, how would that affect your decision in this spot?

Shove. Given descriptions you'e probably ahead, and will get calls. Just need to fade the QJo.
