I took a beating over the weekend so I decided to hit the tables after work. Finished up, but this hand was full of errors.
Majestic IND NL 1/2
Villain pretty solid and tight Asian reg, young guy.
I'm in the big blind holding 3

5 limpers, no raise.
Flop--9

No small blind. I check expecting some sort of bet, but it checks through.
Pot is $10. I bet $6. With no one betting, I wanted to make something off these trips.
Three callers.
Turn 4 i don't remember the suit
Pot $28
I bet $12. I don't know why I bet so small. I think I thought the pot was smaller. A lack of diligence here.
River 6 card.
Whatever suit it was there were no more of 2 of any suit on the board. No flush possibility. I bet $15. I think "flush draw" with callers perhaps too often. I sort of thought no one had anything without the flush. Fold from player one. Villain reraises me $35.
Auto-fold here? Easy fold? I have no kicker.
I only saw "straight" when I looked at the board post-flop. I think a lack of observation here along with poor bet sizing are clear errors on my part.
