First, I will bet a little smaller in the flop, say 20 in the 30 pot, since there is not too many hand that you can get value from. Second u should mention v's image. Tag, lag, station, nit, loose weak? Reraise 55 into 25 and ck the turn looks wield to me. He might think u cbet with air and try to raise u out. If he is not nit or pro and kind of playing a bit loose before and want to be more creative somehow, I probably will call the river, since it sounds like bull **** to me and we get enough bluff catch probability.

Hope that would be use full.

The way the hand played out as hero I would either have a 9, T8, or rivered a straight with 56s. You would probably bet everything else on the turn. You could fold your worse 9's and your missed straights so calling with K9 I think is ok

Reads on V?

I think river is a fold. Not a lot of draws on this flop, just T8, 86 and 65, and 65 got there. Value range is sets of 9s, 7s, 4s, A9 and 97. He also sometimes lucks into top pair on the turn when he was randomly bluffing with ace-high, or is making a thin value bet with TT or JJ. Basically, I'd need a read that he always bluffs his missed draws to call here, and even then it's pretty thin.

I thought turn was a good check behind. The only hands that we might get a fold from that was ahead on the flop are JJ and TT, and those may decide to call down.

I agree turn check is good. I'd probably fold here readless but do think it's close and calling with this 9 is probably ok.
