slow playing a hand beautifully. would you do the same? slow playing a hand beautifully. would you do the same?

Don't project your play on to your V's. Most V's are never folding a straight or a flush, even if it's relative strength is low given the board.

If I had 65 on this board, I would bet flop pretty much always and b/f turn against most Vs (calling against those who I though might GII with the wheel). That's irrelevant though, as I'm not the V. Most Florida Vs, even regs, highly overvalue their made hands and play their draws too passively.

Slappy, you no got no natural skill for this game yo.

Your skill is about as natural as being able to eat 10 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

Reminder to all that trolling and leveling (intentionally bad and/or sarcastic advice) are not allowed in LLSNL strat threads, even if OP seems to be asking for it.

ETA: * whoops, 1 minute too late, sorry G! *

OP wins 169bbs and is almost at his daily goal of 200bbs.

If this is true, can the trolls and levels be deleted? (because that's about all that's itt)
07-02-2015 , 01:25 PM
I deleted the most blatant ones already, believe it or not. I don't think OP is trolling, I think he's just that inexperienced and thinks he's got things figured out.

He did get his whole stack in with the best of it, and that's a good thing.

What he fails to understand is that he was actually doing his best to not get it in.

Agressive play = +$100 most of the time and getting more value/stacking a small percent of time.

Slowplaying= +$100 most of the time and getting more value/stacking a much higher percent of the time.

What if I would have raised preflop? Then would you guys give me respect? No one is seeing 67 in my preflop range Whether i do or not.If button raises my my limp im calling up to 25 or 30 because I believe after the flop I have an advantage.

Yep, because posting in this forum is all about getting respect.

Please be honest: is this troll or some leveling? Do you want to say that playing those hands lead longterm to losing money and trolling that with the shortterm luck 250bb per session through luck hitting the board ?

Can someone please explain, is it really better to fold pre, or does it depends on the foldabality from your opponents, so basically your postflop skills
Or is it because of the game OP mentioned, that the straddler suprisingly didnt raise - those hands limping vs a lot of raiser is burning money, but also in other more passively games?
07-02-2015 , 04:41 PM
You don't win money by out passiving your opponents in a passive table.

You swap money; there is a difference.

Yes a rare troll by me. In another thread op suggested he wanted to make 250bb/session.

As for unsuited connectors oop esp in the blinds with a Mississippi straddle on... Meh. Button is only 100bb deep so only in the best circumstances (which we got here) will this be profitable.

If I'm playing this hand for what I expect to be a raise it's because I'm wanting to see a flop in a very specific "window of opportunity" with a guy who's steaming and ready to punt a deep stack for example.

And this is why we don't allow trolling or leveling in strategy threads. This is an entry level forum and less.experienced posters get confused.

I think this thread has run its course and turned into troll bait, so ima.lock it up.
