There is a $100 'live' tournament tomorrow afternoon at a bar in Mississauga (10min west of TO - 401/Dixie area) They usually have a soft field, good structure and are well organized but I skip the tournament and show up late and play the cash game after. It's only $1/$2 but it's pretty juicy. PM me if ur from the area and I'll give u the location.

...I have nothing to do with it. I've played in one of there events before (they're close to being turbos but the play is weak.) I'm just showing up late to get in on the cash games that start up as the tournament ends. GL to everyone playing tonight. If u can stand the wait lists it's a great night to play (I usually get up and play early on Saturday abd pick on the guys that have stayed too long.)

Karma for wishing each other GL...

I played a total of (3) hands in the MTT.

Call a hyper-LAG from MP with other callers with 44 get a all flop and its checks around. Turn is a 4, checks to me I bet 3/4 pot, only the hyper-LAG calls, river the 4th and he open shoves, I fold...

I get AA in the SB with a few limpers and raise to 9xBB, only UTG calls, I check a dry flop and bet the safe turn, he insta mucks.

I get 55 in LP and solid player open for 4xBB UTG, decent LAG on my right calls and is the big stack, I call with 55 Flop is a wonderful T85, UTG leads for pot, LAG hesitates and calls, I raise 4xthe lead, UTG pushes, LAG tanks and makes a crying call, I insta call... Turn is a 9 river 3 my set goes down in flames to the FD and I am out, UTG wasn't happy about getting her QQ snapped either.

Oh well, it was fun and short which is what I wanted.

Nah I called it a night. It would have been over an hour for a table, not too mention I had no desire to play more than 3-4 hours max.

Rofl I just left too... never thought I'd get mad at being slowrolled.

I sentence you to reading 60 minutes of Elements of Poker...

Tomorrow morning. I promise.

The thing that I think actually makes me the most upset is I spent two hours cultivating an image at the table just to get coolered for my whole stack.

This +1. I play 25NL on stars so I frequent the uNL forum. I'm starting to learn that 75% of the hands posted there I can determine the results simply because people aren't posting hands that they win.

You will sometimes run into the top of a villains range and it's ok to look for validation that you played the hand right but I think it's important to realize you can win a hand and still play it poorly.

The early bird catches the worm. (I hope)

On my way to the casino right now (5:30am EST.) Time to pick on the players that have been there a little too long. Mother's day brunch at 1pm (Happy Mother's Day to all applicable.)

Just wanted to add this to the COTW I did and the card cheating video. I didn't explain the cold deck sequence well enough and I thought I'd just do a quick re-film.

Basically I shuffle and cut the deck (and stack it) hand it to someone to cut and deal and I will get the stack that I want. Yep so for everyone who thinks the sequence of shuffling and handing it over to someone to cut and deal is foolproof, it's not.

Yeah duh of course it's me in both vids! Nah no one taught me anything, I never liked the idea of learning things from mentors because magic itself is an art and I don't like performing 'art' like how a mentor performs his art.

Most of the cheating techniques are learned from videos and books. Some were created by myself and some were improvements on forgotten concepts.

Nope never been to prison and never heard of Ed Norton.

I always liked Saturday morning for this. It always seemed like the Friday night crowd had more staying power, and Sunday mornings was more old nits that got up at 3am...

Went back after 'Mother's Day' brunch...

...5h +$1870 (sometimes I love my job lol)
