Yeah, I still think that 97s hand was a fold PF because of how short you were, but other than that was super standard.
APD limps in MP with 97s with about $110 (had taken a couple of beats and hadn't re-loaded yet, seems a little tilted), two total limp/call fish to his left over-limp. I raise AQ to $12 OTB. Blinds fold, APD calls.
I know he knows the fishies are def calling also, but I still think he was too short to l/c a speculative hand there.
Paid off for him though, as I never put him on it. I think I pay off any random on this hand too, because of effective stacks, but when he CRAI on a Q97r board, I snap called, of course. To make it more interesting, Ace on turn, seven on river...
