Everything has a meaning and/or purpose. Whether you understand that meaning and/or purpose is another story. If there is absolutely no meaning and/or purpose then life is pointless. I guarantee every one has meaning and a purpose though, whether good or bad. 11t wants to enjoy life. I'd say that he has purpose in his life, to make money and bang which is what he said, which defines his meaning of life, to enjoy it.

Life's meaning is relative to oneself. My life has no meaning to the "universe" which has no deep emotional or philosophical meaning as it is just a bunch of physical events. It raining has no meaning. The cards have no meaning. None of it has any meaning.
My life has meaning to myself.
My life does not have meaning to the existence of the universe.
Since the existence of the universe which ultimately has no meaning my life has no meaning.
Its like saying I am rich because I have like 1 million dollars but compared to a billionaire I am definitely not rich therefore you are not rich.
We are all just sacks of blood and organs riding on a rock flying around a star in some meaningless galaxy in some meaningless period of time just trying to find some happiness to get thru the day.
And thats okay!

the new updated pokerjournal app is kinda overkill in a way. you have to enter too much data like tips, ect...
it is cool how it figures your standard deviation (per session/ or hour), though.

The universe has no meaning in the same way that somebody spiking a set on the flop when AIPF has no meaning.
It is just a collection of events.
To claim the universe has meaning requires proof. If I were to say that a comet hitting the face of jupiter has no meaning you would agree. I am just extrapolating outward.
Basically great claims require great evidence, there is no evidence that the universe has meaning therefore it has no meaning

Someone spiking a set on me means I am a huge dog and likely to lose. Being a good poker player means that when they do spike that set it should not affect the way I play.
For someone else it could mean they can't pay their rent. I know a few guys like that.
