Well, even if u did it would be super exploitable. Anytime u ask for a chop the other player can say no and raise u

You are right, they almost always have a reason, and IME its generally wrong or missing key elements that end up making it wrong. Being a consistent winner in LLSNL games is about hitting hands and value betting the hell out of them.

Once I found out how these Asian lags in la play oop in pots. I caught on very quickly.
So how exactly do you "out play" the typical rec LLSNL player when they are not thinking beyond their own two cards? BTW that is a rhetorical question...

And now back to your daily dose of "The **** iLCDs says"...

You outplay by floating and making big hands. That's how, you right you have to hit.

I don't know what games yall play. But in cali people go to the casino to play poker. And most can't read a board. But as long as you are making plays. They will learn they lesson its only a matter of time. I connect on a straight, flush or some wierd 2pair.

Now that I think of it, I think your rhetorical question was a level.

The average person knows this is a game. Bums always get outplayed. They have no choice when there up against a good player.

[QUOTE=stampler;25021668]limit Omaha 8
you have AA7T
board is A353
you are heads up, bet, and get raised,
obv, you have no low.
does anyone reraise??
it's not unrealistic that you could be getting scooped here, btw.
(wat did he call flop w/ anyways??)[/

Ive played a fair amount of o8 and plo8 live as low as it gets and as high as 20/40 limit and 1/2/5plo8. Like a lot of poker questions there is not a black and white yes or no answer to this question.

A thinking player will stop raising with only a nut low even with redraws on the turn for fear of being 3/4ed. A player with A3 and the nut low may continue to raise and get counter fitted on the river. We have a draw at an emergency low on the river. A player with 33 with our without a low will continue to raise until the racks are empty.

Personally, on the turn I'd bet or raise and reraise and call. On the river if I made a low I'd go to the felt 100 BBs deep or less. It depends on the villain but with only a high I think i would still get in 3 or 4 bets.

Not that ANL believes in etiquette, but it is expected that you'll always chop or never chop. Of course the last time someone changed their mind on chopping, I raised their complete of the SB, and then potted the next two streets. Later I noticed he decided that being consistent wasn't a bad idea.

i always chop unless noted otherwise.

at 3/5 its a bit different, at the 2/2 overwhelmingly the people wont play HU or plays super duper passive so there really is no point unless for some crazy longshot to jackpot.

just had a weird thought;
poker is like indoor plumbing.
people are around it on a daily basis,
yet they are totally mystified by it.

like, you don't have to know what gravity is to flush a toilet.

So that makes us plumbers?

How about electricians. I think that works too. People are even more mystified by that stuff. When I was in school for electrical engineering I don't know how many times I heard mechanical engineering students say "I don't like the electrical stuff, you can't SEE it!!

I don't think people are totally mystified by poker. They think they understand it but they've misinterpreted some very basic principles of it. I'm not sure what the good analogy there is though...

I know nothing of the site, but I do watch a lot of Red vs Blue.

A surprisingly large number of quotes from that show can be directly used on this forum IMO...
