Because that is what I analyzed. 88,55 and AA are in his opponents range. None of which can withstand a river check raise the way he played the hand.

High level thinking, lol.

So let me get this straight.

You think he turned his two pairs into bluff, and yet his bluff failed because he was called?

Or you are saying that he made his opponent think he was bluffing with river CR representing the draw with some sort of < TP float merge?

Its a million dollar tournament. His opponent is not betting light. His bluff did fail, but his 2pair was better then his opponents. That's what ivey does. He will c/r representing draws. Sometimes it works, sometimes it fails. I leearned that from his HU battle with Jungleman Dan. But vs him ivey tried to rep a hand that he held.

I have a investigative personality vs accepting. I value intellectual curiosity and the challenge of solving complex task vs clear cut activities and seeing concrete results. Some people need to see in black and white. That's why my mind is great for games and poker. I don't expect you to see what I see. I don't know your personality traits.

Or he was value check/raising knowing that his opponent is very likely going to bet river with worse hand.

I don't expect a lot of people able to see what you see, or I will be disappointed at people in general.

Oh btw, you are actually very much in the accepting category and you just don't know it or choose to ignore it.

DN said that the guy who shoved all in otr was so happy ott when the straight flush hit with the quads. I think it was the best fold in history.

AJ is too thin facing a pfr and 3barrels. If ivey thought he was good he wouldn't have paused at showdown. It was on the live stream.

J85A4

hmm, only draw is 67s that got there

So Id remove that from his range

way less likey for dude to have AA give that ivey AJ and turn is an Ax.

because we are missing the bet sizes here, its hard to give a concrete analysis.

I dont think Ivey was "bluffing with better" but likely trying to get value from Ax or from a stubborn QQ.

Fwiw, a c/r there is pretty bad. Only had that really calls you is AK,AQ,AT and random stubborn QQ/KK MAYBE KJ (prolly not KJ)

then air folds, sometimes 3b raises

and many other hands call or raise that have us beat (44/55 might call) 88/JJ/AA prolly 3b and ofc 67 3bs as well.

I think leading or c/c is best depending on reads

Maybe he paused because he had an itch, not so uncommon during hot summer Vegas days.

It's funny you're reading into all these subtle crap without any type of correlation to back it up, and yet you somehow find this to be useful in improving your poker game.
