I'm glad you guys appreciate it!

I think it is also important to point out the bankroll size you need to play this game. Bankroll requirements are calculated with the formula:

B = -(SD^2/(2*WR))*ln(RoR))

Our win-rate per game is $11.75.
Our SD per game is sqrt(.178*(11.75-(-200))^2+.822*(.5104*(11.75-1000)^2+.4528*(11.75-(-1000))^2) = $893.72

B = -(SD^2/(2*WR))*ln(RoR))
= -(893.72^2/(2*11.75))*ln(.05)
= $101,821

I took this formula from here: http://archives2.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1

Edit: I forgot to include possibility of a chop in the SD calc, but the difference is in pennies.

What kind of bankroll do we need to play this regularly? Would $200k suffice?

That really helpful.

Can you explain the edge cases for me. The chart seems to indicate that at $0 blind the edge is only $80. That is not intuitive for me. At no cost to fold, I could just wait for AA to come. And EV for AA has to be higher than $80. I'm obviously misunderstanding.

The chart shows the average return we should expect per game played if we play optimally. You could just sit and wait for aces and be +EV if your blind bet is $0, but that wouldn't yield as great a return per game as the optimal strategy.

The chart could also be made to display the edge on our blind bet by it's size, which is what it sounds like you're thinking about. If it were made that way then the edge would approach infinity as our blind bet decreases.

Okay... yes I think I understand.. in the case of a blind bet of $0 - I was thinking of a game instance only occurring when I 'accepted' the bet (eg. waited for AA)... so once every 221 instances I'd have great EV - but I'd have to divide that EV (probably $700 or so) by 221 for all the other times I made $0 EV. That would give be much less than 'optimal'. Perfect. thanks again.

Already answered but this is a fantastic game assuming you can handle the swings. Literally, passing up money if you don't play.

Seeing as this is a NLHE forum I think its pretty obvious.

It was obvious to me that it's a stupid prop bet (equivalent to betting $1K against $1021 on a coin flip, as shown ITT). The exact details weren't obvious, because of OP's catastrophically roundabout wandering way of explaining it.

And I have no idea where OP found a casino that would spread this game.

Its not a casino, a player offers to run it with other players. I thought that much was obvious.

Maybe you should learn to read?

I looked all through the OP for casino but there it was in the thread title. lol

Anyways, I would say BadlyBeaten's point is a valid one. The casino has to sign off on this sort of thing. Was this full ring or HU? Full ring this is collusion. I've seen this sort of thing possibly if they are both in the blinds and everyone folds to them (that is a big if in most live games). Where I play I could see them allowing this a couple of times to keep everyone happy but if it started to be a regular thing they would probably put a clamp down on it because they'd rather you play the table games if you want to straight up gamble (not to mention they could get in trouble from their gaming commission).
