Jokes itt. But it's not that large a gap in time, and given that WSOP and EDC are all set already, I don't think that's the reason.

I should also note that rates are cheaper in comparison with this time last year for the same weeks in June. So there's that.

Be glad you were such a clear villa that you'd have never gotten mislynched.

No, but I wanna go ahead and claim for the third week of June. That seems to be available to most. I'd be flying in early on Tuesday the 20th and leaving redeye on Friday the 23rd.

That should be a good week. Monster stack starts on Saturday the 24th for those interested in playing a big tournament.

I'd say avoid the week of EDC due to cost

Good point. EDC finishes up on Sunday the 18th which means that will be the most expensive weekend. It would make sense to setup the 1/1 game for like Thursday June 22nd.

I'd prefer earlier when games are at their best

I'm still a long shot sadly, but if you guys set a date, I'll book a refundable hotel deal and can make a call closer to the time. I would want to play around one of the bigger weekend tourneys, so Monster Stack weekend would work

@11t: You want between Colossus and Milly, like before?

I can see good games argument between those tournies, but the Monster Stack should be a good draw too. I'll vote for the game 21st-22nd.

I'd vote for whatever week has the best cash games. Sounds like that's between milly and Colossus. Couple hundo on hotels comes back 3 fold in better games. This from a guy who stayed at the Days Inn But w/e. Book it and I'll be there as long as I have a roll.

Any thoughts on a dinner reservation? I thought Javier's was fine if not outstanding. Might be nice to check out something off-Strip like Chada or Kabuto or Echo & Rig.

I seem to have a wedding in CO the weekend of the 17th. A triangle trip would be doable.

I was disappointed with Javier's too - too noisy so we could hardly talk to anybody other than people sat next to us and the drinks service too slow

I enjoyed the old fashioned steakhouse we went to off strip with Rob, 11t and others. No idea what it's called?

Somewhere quiet enough to hear each other. Lotus of Siam is solid.

Would be down for a quality Asian or Italian joint. Okay with a steakhouse if not super expensive. The Cut was awesome though.

I gave it 3 out of 5 stars..pretty meh average place. BTW, the prices weren't bad because we went at happy hour. I believe outside of happy hour that place was overpriced for off-strip.

Nothing people have heard of isn't overpriced. I'd be willing to overpay for "The" Steakhouse @Circus^2

We probably want to go to different kinds of Asian places.
