I was playing some live 1/2 the other day and this hand has been bothering me since.

I am UTG with JcJs and open to $10. Utg +1 and 2 both flat. Mid pos 3 bets to $25. Folds back to me and although the small 3 bet looks nutted, I figured I am given a great price and huge implied odds to set mine knowing the two guys behind will for sure come along to see a flop.

4 ways to a flop and it comes 9d6d3d.
I check and it checks to the 3 bettor who also checks behind. This is where it gets really tough. If he has QQ+ he would for sure bet into a 4 way pot right?? Unless he has KK with a diamond or AA with a diamond.

Pot: ~100
The turn was a 9c and I have $96 back.

Hero??

Moved from poker theory

I feel like you have some elements of this hand backwards. In live low limit games, most people are going to feel that, 4 ways, their overpair is not very good and probably not protectable. So I think checking with an overpair is going to be very common, whether it's right or not. Also, I think having QQ+ with a live diamond makes a bet MORE likely, not less. They may have the best hand, and if not have a good draw to a probable best hand.

Welcome to the forum, OP.

I'm not going to comment, as I saw results. In the future please don't post them, as they bias people's comments.

Also, please give reads on the villains, your perceived table image, effective stacks, etc.

Very few players are checking behind with QQ+ on the flop after 3 betting. Based on your stack and the pot size, just push all in on the turn. Its your only play

Yeah this could use some reads on opponents. I really have no idea what anyone's range is.

You're not getting a great price to setmine given that you started the hand with ~$120. For calling to be noticeably +EV, you have to assume you're going to win w/o flopping a set sometimes (with or without showdown). You almost certainly will, so I'm fine with the call, but not to 100% setmine.

Flop is fine, definitely bet turn.

I tried to edit but it didnt let me. I just sat down for 1 orbit and the table seemed spewy. However the 3 bettor did not play much hands and didnt do anything crazy postflop. All 3 players were pretty deep with $300-400 behind.

Yeah, you can only do that for the first 20 minutes or so after you post, if I recall correctly.

Just put reads in a separate post. Even simple demographic info (age, ethnicity, dress, etc.) can give something to work with, though obviously stereotypes aren't always true, so individual reads are much more valuable.
