How do I get away from this?

I would like to know if I can get away from this hand somehow. I personally don't see how, but maybe I'm a donk. So just checking.

1/2 NL 100 max with stack of about 260 in SB with QQ

limped pot 6 handed all the way around to my SB.
Pot at 11 already.

I raise to 17 total... 15 more back to the limpers.
4 callers.
Pot at 68.
flop comes 677

I lead out 40
Villain calls (has about 90 left)
fold and fold

Turn comes J

???

Re: How do I get away from this?

you raise OOP into all those limpers (sizing is ok), you c-bet a little small (50-55 is good), and villain calls with 2 behind which means his hand represents a draw more than value, + the possible equity he gains from your hand if he does have you beat, but instead he just calls. You are ahead most of the time here. Jam turn

Re: How do I get away from this?

I jam the turn as well, the post is about 150, you jam 90 into it, if you are beat then be it. The guy might have a draw or a 6 or a smaller over pair.

Obv here he had a 7, but i think you are too short to get away.

Re: How do I get away from this?

Any action -other- than jamming the turn here is -EV in the long run. Otherwise you're leaving way too much money on the table.

You bet to get better to fold or worse to call. Here, you'll obviously never get better to fold (any 7 is calling, for example). But worse will -definitely-call. Any flush draw, any straight draw, pocket pairs might call, even AJ might call. Villain is too short for you to be able to bet/fold so just put your chips in the middle.

Jam and feel good about it even if villain flips over something stupid like A7o.

Re: How do I get away from this?

The only way I would ever consider getting away, here is if the caller was the BB maybe the utg, and he can play poker. These conditions are very rare at 1-2 so I think you can't get away here.

Edit...just read that he has 90 left on the turn....Can't get away here...just shove turn...Like the get ice cream idea....I vote chocolate chip.

looks like a bad beat story. Easiest shove on the turn. if you want to do chocolate chip, at least do chocolate mint chips.

Re: How do I get away from this?

I think the title should be changed to: Should I be going for value in this hand and did I miss value anywhere.

I'm raising more pre... Betting closer to the pot post, and AP I am putting $90 in there and calling it a day.

And why would I do all that? Because you never gave me a description on your villain so I am going to guess he is just another LOL live player who limps and calls raises no matter what position and will chase every draw no matter what the board and your range looks like.

/thread because it is lacking info and title suggests bad beat story. If OP wants to PM the details on V and the rest of the hand to try and get it opened back up he can.
