Two things:

(1) I want to make it clear that homegame hands are welcomed here. I know some people will be most comfortable posting in their "home" forum if they frequent the Home Poker forum. But soft and wild penny stakes games are right up the alley for this forum!

(2) There are a number of COTW articles that are appropriate reading for live players. Folks may want to check out the full list of topics here.

This doesn't really need its own thread, eh? We'll see where it goes.

I'm on my BB. If this thread isn't locked by the time I get home I'll put a few up that I've found helpful

1/2, 2/5 Donkey Crusher Thread comes to mind (it's been moved here)

Limon's Well

Any Podcasts people have found helpful (see Bart Hanson)

...maybe this thread can be cleaned up and made respectable, idk.

Thx Kurt

I'm sure most of u are already all over this stuff...

Don't know why I'm posting this really (they've been around like forever) but I found both the thread & the podcast entertaining & informative.

#2000...random shyt

Podcast with Bart Hanson
Before u buy another poker book give these a try.

--------

I posted this in the SSFR forum a little while ago and thought I'd post it over here... There are also a lot of other podcasts at Deuces Cracked that are worth listening to. Other Podcasts Bart Hanson does an excellent job.

POKERROAD - Podcasts

Cash Plays <---- Link to list page

I like the earlier instructional ones with Bart Hanson and a lot of the interviews as well (see 2008 Archive.) Jeremiah Smith also does a good job in the later ones as he talks to some of the biggest names in poker.

anybody else have any websites they frequent or podcasts they listen to?

--------

Another good thread for live small stakes cash players is...

Cleaning House at Live 1/2 and 2/5 NL

--------

Please post anymore links that you guys feel that are helpful. THX

I think this thread is fine until Kurt gets off his ass and makes a FAQ sticky.

KUD, all extremely worthy threads and links.

I just watched this and my mouth dropped. A must see if you are playing a home game.

That's crazy!

I guess that's why Limon says that if ur playing in an 'organized' home game that doesn't have a 'monster' rake, ur being cheated (so be prepared to be cold decked.)

Nobody outside of the Midwest US knows what you're talking about.

Ya, it was big in Ontario as well (not sure about the rest of Canada though.) Goddamn 'Poker Boom' killed all my action.

You don't like what I did so far?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...-first-775462/

Then I could use some pointers.

Also, could use some advice on what to do with this thread.

like the guidelines thread...

...this thread started out badly and should probably be locked. It would be nice to have some sort of thread containing links to poker websites, podcasts, 2p2 links, etc. that everyone could contribute to (but so far no one cares.) It's too bad really because the links I posted I found really helpful to my game and I was looking forward to checking out 'stuff' that other people found interesting and informative. Thx for the good work so far Kurt (I was against this forum in the beginning but thx to the efforts of urself and others it really seems to be coming together..)

I would like a lively chat thread, and since that is what this is turning into, I think I am going to lock it.

Good try though, and I'm happy the two "live" COTW articles I lined up got pimped over here.
