1-2nl casino Niagara

villian 1(~300)- young Asian kid with dyed purple spiked hair, fairly new to table so no real read
villian 2(~100)- nitty reg, somewhat of a station postflop
hero (~600)- fairly aggressive but that is probably unknown to villian 1 and villian 2 probably isn't paying much attention

villian 1 limps in ep, folds to hero with KQ who raises to $10, villian 2 calls, folds to villian 1 who calls (pot$30)

flop KQ4

villian 1 checks, hero bets $15, villian 2 folds, villian 1 calls (pot $60). I think my flop bet was a little small, but my cbet % is very high and there were a few competent players at the table who were paying attention so if my bet size varied to much I felt I might be giving to much away. Is this bad thinking at this level?

Turn: T

Villian 1 leads for $20 hero calls(pot$100). My thinking here was that this was either a blocking bet with a combo draw or a weak lead with a turned straight looking to get raised. Is not raising here horrible?

River T

villian leads for $60. Hero??

With no reads, and no turn raise on your end, you're not sure where you stand here. I'm leaning towards a fold on the river, I don't think you're beating too much other than AK or AQ.

Fold and observe how he continues to play.

Is this Casino Niagara? They still run a 1/2 game?

99% of live players are not smart enough to attempt this. You'd feel way dumber if a scare card peels off on the river then paying him off here. If he turns out to be doing this then give him a little golf clap and shrug it off.

as played call. i would expect to see K9. or K2s. if he has KT, oh well.

u said u think they realize u c-bet a lot. so now take advantage of that. bet pot and have them think, "oh boy, here he goes again. bettin with nothin. i bet my Q is good. im sure hes got nothin. ima a gonna call him."

This. When you make 2 pair on the flop, you want to bet flop big. Pot size or bigger. Always assume when you make 2 pair on flop that you'll never improve your hand.

Yes... Adjust ur bet sizing according to the job ur trying to get done (no one will notice.)

I had a villain take this same exact line with me -- c/c, small bet, 1/2 psb -- on the turn they picked up a straight draw and missed on the river, but decided to bluff at another scare card that came.

I'd bet more on the flop and raise the turn just in case he did pick up a straight draw + pair, or a worse 2 pair.

Someone did this to me yesterday (though my bet sizing was considerably better - bet 22 on flop here then rr turn- we are only beat by 44 and a very unlikely straight). I just flatcalled the riverand they turned over top pair that they wanted to get to showdown as cheaply as possibly and is a tiny blocker bet. Folding would be ridiculous.
