Hi all ,

Just played a reallyyyyy weird session.

I have 300 everyone limps I raise to 40 in the BB With KK and button raises to 140 before I. All he shows me pocket aces face up and says you sure u wanna do that? LOL!!

1/3 game effective stack 160

I'm on the button with Q10 off everyone limps and I limp as well ( considered raising but I'm not deep enough) flop is J 10 9 2 clubs I have the 10 of clubs BB Bets 12 cutoff calls and I call turn is the 8 of clubs BB checks cut off bets 26 I call 26 ( thought about raising by was curious about the BB) and sure enough the BB Raises all in for 100 total... hero should

What do you know about villains? How wide both villains can be makes a difference here.

In abstract it's a fold. BB shoved over two people on a 4 straight 3 flush board. He probably doesn't have a hand worse then yours. There is a small chance you are free rolling him if he doesn't have a club. The cutoff is still to act after you though. If either has a low flush or a higher straight your drawing thin and there are multiple ways you are drawing dead.

I'm calling here all day. Strong hand plus the redraw. When I'm shortstaked like this I usually take my chances.

I think the overlimp is fairly trivial, imo; just stove QTo against 8 random hands (let alone non-random hands) and it isn't exactly a powerhouse. I just overlimp against the world and try to flop a great hand / draw and get paid off postflop in position.

Flop is a trivial fold. We didn't play this hand eleventeen ways to continue with second pair + no draw. Also notice how our Q outs aren't exactly clean (completing a possible OESD). In very multiway pots, we should hardly ever be seeing a turn facing an EP bet with TP- hands with no draw.

Next time format your hand so we know how big the pot is so we don't have to do the math ourselves. I'm guessing the pot is about $65 and we're facing a $26 bet. Unlikely the BB is checking a monster as the board is getting more dangerous. We're getting about 2.5:1 and we should have 9 clean flush outs and possibly 3 more gutshot outs (although the gutshot outs have low IO and could be chopping). In position and not expecting the BB to check/raise, I would probably also call.

Dude, your HH is a mess. Did the CO call the all-in?

At this point, it is purely a math question. I'll let you at least tell us what that math question is (present the numbers please).

ETA: Thanks to your horrible HH format, I didn't even realize we had a straight. Garbage in, garbage out.
