Blinds are $1/$3

Villain - Fishy player who just got caught bluffing his whole stack, but has just reloaded for $300. He is playing a few too many hands, and I have been trying to isolate him.

Hero - Is stuck $150 as I jammed a draw with 11 outs (AdTd) on flop (J98) but bricked against someone who tank called with kings. I didn't show, so maybe they think i'm bluffy? Hard to tell.

Villain opens UTG+1 to $6
Hero 3bets to $16 with J8
folds to villain who calls

AT7
Villain checks
Hero bets $20
Villain calls

Turn J
Villain checks
Hero checks

River J
Villain donk leads $60
Hero has $230ish

I would Tank - Jam this river since we checked the turn which basically tells the story we missed the flop.

P.S. I don't like the check on the turn. If we led out on the flop and picked up more equity on the turn I would be betting once again.

Bet turn. As played I'm raising river for sure. I like $150. I think a jam is a bit too big.

Wrong... A jam and a raise gets called by same range and any other thinking is most likely too fancy and a small raise looks even stronger than a jam

Hip thrusting double fist pump snap ship.

Your hand is completely disguised and will like get a call from Ax's that think they're being pushed out of a chop. And AK/AQ could easily call.

That's what I thought too - Hero ships

Villain tank calls with
Spoiler:
TT for a boat. I was puzzled and said you're good LOL. He literally tanked for 3 minutes.

Shoving is basically a pot-sized raise. I think you get a lot of crying calls from Ax. Villain should have zero Jx in his range. Bad luck if he shows up with KdQd.

I consider both valid plays in this situation because we're up against a player who isn't likely considering any of what you just said. FWIW I thought OP had fish covered rather than $230 behind so I wouldn't go with $150 but if I believe the villain mostly has weak top pair type hands I consider a small raise a viable option as well.

Are we on the Button? I can get behind an iso raise here on the Button, but otherwise this sizing is just too small to isolate if we're much farther from the Button (where I'd probably just flat in position and see a flop).

I also just bet the flop to see if it takes it down, plus it's most likely a value bet due to all our outs.

I'm also just checking back the turn. We have a showdownable hand at this point against a bluffer so we can setup a snap bluffcatch UI. We'd also hate to be blown off our draw facing a check/raise.

I probably just lean towards a call on the river. He did juice the pot preflop and continue; is he really juicing with Ax? 98 did get there. If he has a J, it's probably better than ours. Is he paying off a raise with worse (like Ax)? Can he also put us in a horrible spot by shoving?
