Call or raise?

Thought this was an interesting spot.

Live 2-5 home game. Shorthanded to start and 2 walking, so playing 3 handed. I am BTN. SB is fairly straightforward, but can bluff in a good spot. BB is good and tricky.

I raise to 15 with 56
SB calls. BB calls. Pot 45
Flop A55

SB bets 20. BB calls. I raise to 100. Call, call. Pot 345.

Turn 6

SB checks, BB checks, I bet 240. SB calls, BB thinks for a while and folds. Pot 825.

River Q

SB bets 200 with 1,100 behind. I cover.

Your action?

Tank for a minute to trick him into thinking you really have a strong hand. Then fold.

Re: Call or raise?

You think it's that clear cut? This isn't necessarily an "I'm posting it because I lost" hand.

Re: Call or raise?

Flat, doubt there's any raising hand unless you have nutty history.

Re: Call or raise?

yeah i feel like sb made an ill advised draw to a flush and then made it and realized it still may be no good so he made a small defensive bet, and may call a small raise.

Re: Call or raise?

Make it anywhere from 550 to 700 and fold if he shoves.

Re: Call or raise?

I went back and forth and almost raised it to 550ish as a couple of you mentioned. I ended up calling. He had A-5.

I had actually put the BB on a flush draw given his time thinking, which made it more unlikely that the SB had one as well. (BB said he did have the draw, but don't know if that's true.)

I think the problem with raising here is that the SB is just not calling a raise enough to make it worthwhile. He's not calling a naked ace, unless he thinks the queen splits it, but I could easily have AK there. So that means he has the flush and isn't calling or has me dead.

Even though I called, I think this is almost close to a fold given the action, but getting 5-1...

If you're not raising/shipping here, 2/5 is beyond your stakes
