Bluff river? Bluff river?

Hero - tag-lag image. $2100.
Villain - Asian guy, seems gambly. I've seen him call bottom pair "out of curiosity", but also lay down top pair (aces) to turn bet on dry board and show.

7-handed.

Villain straddles UTG for $10. CO calls. Hero raises button to $45 with Q9 (I expect CO to usually limp fold here). Blinds fold. V calls. CO folds.

I'm giving V a very wide range including unsuited connectors and various suited cards.

Flop ($107) AJ8
V checks. Hero bets $55. V raises to $135. Hero calls. Thoughts: raise sizing doesn't "feel" like a 88 and I think V 3bets JJ or AA. So I think 2 pair is more likely as well as some semibluffs.

Turn ($377): 4
V bets $250 with $450 behind. This was close and maybe a bad call with 10-12 likely outs, but hero calls. My thinking is that there's still a chance I'm ahead and V might not continue his semibluffs otr.

River ($877): 8
V thinks for a bit and checks. Hero?

I think best is probably betting like $100 to pick the pot up if he has specifically the nut flush draw. If he had a strong hand here he'd just have jammed the river, you'd think. It feels pretty possible that he has Kx, maybe even specifically KT, and didn't want to bluff the river because he figures you're not folding an ace. Betting the full $200 he has left doesn't seem necessary.

Oh misunderstood "V bets $250 with $450 behind", you meant after the bet.

Eh. I want to bet but I'm not sure how much. Being bluff checkraised would be a disaster, however unlikely, so probably an amount that precludes that. $200?

The other day I minraise bluffed $200 to $400 with another $500 behind. Guy ships all in. I fold. He shows a re-bluff. I guess this situation has made me antsy about players bluff shipping even after I put over half our effective stacks in...

If you're going to bluff this river, then I think we need to rip it in. Even then we're still giving the Villain a good price on a call.

I don't love the turn call, I think this is a fold. We are only getting 2.5-1 on our call, and likely are only 20-25%. Not quite enough direct odds, and that's assuming all the outs are clean. Bluff raising feels pretty meh as Villain is going to get a good price on a call.

Not sure I am a fan of calling this turn if your not willing to bluff a blank river here....looks like a decent spot to jam it in,

Spoiler:
I check behind just praying he has a lower FD. V has 9To for missed OESD. I win with Q high. After thinking about it more, I decided that I probably should be shipping here, so not entirely happy with my play even though I won the hand.
