1/2 home game

V1 - Asian mid-20s. Loose pre-flop, aggressive post flop, hates to fold. Can be spewy but is definitely a thinking player. ($600)
V2 - white guy probably 30. Never played with him before but he speaks as if he plays a good bit. Seen him limp-fold and limp-call pre. Has bet-folded a couple times on the turn. Seemed worried he was getting bluffed ($220)
H - mid-30s white guy. Been playing pretty tight tonight. Got it in w TT pre against AJ and AQ in two separate hands, lost both. Haven't a showed much tonight otherwise, taken several pots without showdown.

V1 limps UTG. 3 callers, including V2 on the button. H has 5c2c on the BB and checks his option.

Flop ($10) - 984, all clubs. SB checks. Hero bets $10. V1 makes it $60. CO folds and accidentally flashes the A V2 asks several times to confirm the A was shown, and after confirmation shoves for $218 more. SB folds. Hero?

I hated this spot. Pretty clear to me that V2 has the K the way he was asking about the exposed card. Don't know if he could have a made flush or the nut draw. If I shove assume V2 only calls with a better flush this deep. If I call, don't know what to do if V1 shoves. With the A and probably the K spoken for, i think V2 has a better flush, a set or a bit of air that will fold. I guess I could fold but that seems pretty tight with a flush on a monotone flop.

There's an old saying that you don't go broke in a limped pot. Nobody can have a worse flush than you. Two people are showing a lot of interest in pot after you bet on a monochrome board. On the plus side, there's not a lot of clubs left unaccounted for. Your bet doesn't look like a flush, so you are under repped. V1 probably doesn't have a flush or he wouldn't have bet so much. The nut flush isn't likely to want to push you out with a shove.

I think you want to call this. You want to see their hands.

Thanks Venice. What do you do if V1 shoves? He still has about 300 behind.

Not loving it but I advocate folding with 2 raises behind you and 300 BB deep....If V1 re-shoves over you, believe you'd have to still call.

Don't go broke in a limped pot and give up your $12.

So, think I played this the worst way possible. I call the bet. V1 then re-shoves for $300 more and I folded, on the assumption that this is now usually a bigger flush, and much less likely a set, and even those times when he has a set I'm only 2:1, while when he has a flush I'm dead.

Whew .. yes, don't go broke in a limped pot. But don't pay the pot $200 and fold out either IMO.

Too much going on here to 'lose' main pot and 'hope' to win your money back in the side pot while avoiding a boat draw at worst. This is never an OESD and even if it was he probably would have at least one club. GL
