Game: 1-2 NLHE live game currently played 9 handed
Description- game is very loose at the moment almost all regs for the room and deserve respect.

Villain 1 UTG limps (+$450) solid TAG reg, UTG+2 calls ($420) solid preflop makes errors postflop, hero ($410) looks down at AK in lojack and decides just to call the limpers knowing BTN is LAG ($155) and has been raising all over with weak holdings, he’s gotten the better of us and hit many draws in our history. BTN is solid postflop can fold when he doesn’t hit. Table views hero as solid TAG, who prefers bluffing in heads up scenarios.
Anyway BTN raises to 6, UTG, UTG2 both call… Hero raises to $26… Everyone calls

Flop ($107): K 7 4
X, X, hero bets $45, BTN calls, UTG calls, UTG+2 folds

Turn ($242) 9
UTG X, hero looks at BTN stack (85) and bets $100 hoping to get HU to river with one opponent, BTN thinks about it and calls all-in, UTG thinks a moment and calls

River: 5
Side pot action UTG checks and Hero checks.

I'm feel my sizing both preflop and on the flop could have been better in order to avoid going 4 way to the flop against both very strong and wide ranges respectively. Suggestions on how to play differently?

Preflop if you are going to limp/raise then bet more abusive. The limp/raise to $26 tells everybody you have a big hand without pricing out drawing hands. Either stick with limp/call or raise bigger. I would go to $50/$60 when limp/raising AK.

Flop bet is actually fine on such a dry board. The only draw is 65 that made a loose call preflop, everything else that beats you is AA or a set. When your flop bet gets 2 calls after the way this hand was played you should be worried. Particularly UTG, who called 2 raises preflop and then didn't give up to a bet and call on this flop? AK should be the bottom of his range if he isn't a fish.

Turn is OK. You are giving too good of a price to UTG but he shouldn't have draws in his range. River check is fine, you should always be good when UTG checks but it's also hard to see any worse that will call another bet from you if he is actually solid and the only reasonable bet is a shove to represent AA+.

No way I can limp call $6 in that spot given the game, I am open raising almost always except this scenario where I was positive a raise after was to follow, which i can 3B. I feel preflop i needed to get to 44-50 tops in order to make it how it should have played wishing it was just against UTG.

Flop I feel like I should be c-betting more aggressively something closer to 2/3 maybe even 3/4 pot. If someone comes over the top of that c-bet I could stick it in comfortably being beyond commitment threshold.

Thanks for the post! Please more input from more readers would be great it's my first post on the forum!

If you are going to limp raise its need to be to $40. 75% pot on this perfect flop. Jam turn.

Yea button's doing great with $155.

Just raise pre from there, only good things can happen. Also, when limping, you dont want the button to get boxed out when one of the better players limp-r for the same reasons. AK can compete with such a range but you lose the value in the limp in the process - happens sometimes.

Button's stack is volatile. He know's what he is doing but gets in big spots a ton. should have said he just lost a big pot with top two flopped against bottom set...

Anyway, the club on the river completed BTN flush draw with A4 of clubs so he scooped the huge main pot

I won the side pot with TPTK against UTG who claimed he had KQ

Just realized i mixed up the suits the flop was 7 of clubs and 4 of diamonds. Since BTN had 4 of clubs

pre might be a bit small, but flop and turn seem ok to me.
