Check/fold the turn. The only way you can call the river is if you think the villain will shove with 10-high.

^ agreed.

Personally, at 1/1 and even 1/2 I'm probably not always c-betting this flop. I will but if I read opponent's as disinterested. When I cbet I'm not expecting folds from any draws so I'm just cbetting small (1/2 pot max) when I think they all completely miss. With such wide ranges and stationy players like at 1/1 the Q is getting hit very frequently, they carry on with 8X 7X any draw including gutshots and even 1 over-card. Fold equity is minimal.

After being called on the flop I'm giving up completely 100% of the time.

Players at these stakes will very frequently slow play all their strong hands vs a perceived strong PFR till the river. Big bets on river are rarely bluffs. They just think hero has AA and stacks off vs their 7X.

Check back the turn. Nothing about the turn 7 will get villain to fold something he can call the flop with.

Fold river as played

Toss one chip into the pot for a call, two to the dealer for a tip and watch V table 9-10. Easy game.

Making some reasonable assumptions for perspective. Assume v isn't limp calling AQ, KK, AA. Assume he only chk/calls river with his Qx hands... What's left?

There are 4 combos of 9Ts. There are 3 each of 77 and 88. It's rainbow so 2 of the four combos of 78s remain.

So 8 value hands and 4 possible bluffs or 2:1

Pot is laying you just under 2.5:1 on a call. So bluff catching would be profitable if 100% of the time villain arrived at the river like this he bluff shoved.

But it's unlikely he always bluffs this spot even half those times. So while it's possible he's bluffing here it's most likely not profitable to bluff catch with A hi here without a read that villain is extremely bluff happy.

And then there Are some parts of his range that won't make any sense betting with here but he will and you'll call and see something stupid that actually beats you as well like underpairs and weak queens.

But I'm guessing you posted cuz you folded and he showed you T9.
