I shove, effective stack of the guy left in the pot was around 270.

Why just why

Depending on how many limps you had before you 11$ might be too small.

Bet on the flop is reasonable (a bit less than half pot).
Turn bet is fairly big 55$ in a 87$ pot and can't face a check raise. At this point your hand is a bluff catcher. Check behind and consider a call on a bet river.

River push makes no sense to me. Are you pushing for value or as a bluff? You are called by hands that beat you. Your hand has a decent showdown value.

I can't tell whether you're betting turn and river as a bluff or for value. I assume they're bluffs. On the turn, you're now bluffing into two people when the obvious draw just hit. That's a mistake in my mind. I'm also not sure what hands you're trying to bluff out. Most of the bigger aces would've opened themselves rather than limp/called, which means I guess you're trying to bluff out A9, A7 and two pair? That seems very dangerous to me.

I check back turn, and evaluate river based on sizing, but check behind river if checked to.

Edit - I missed how big our river shove was, so we're clearly bluffing. I'm not trying to get an unknown off of two pair or a flush, and I don't put a lot of big Ax in their range, so I think this is spewy.

Could OP explain any of what he was thinking at any point in this journey? Because it was a bad bet size to squeeze with a bad hand to squeeze with, and then he played the turn and river like bluffs when half the hands he is bluffing know he is full of it, and he could be walking into a big hand himself.

all the forum regs gonna show up to ask why-we could do this more refined strategy and get better results.

Op saw the players as weak and decided to show them strong. It didn't exactly pan out and now he wants to learn poker in 2 minutes.

Might as well just light $300 on fire, at least that might keep you warm for a bit.

I assuming this was 100-200 op is a genuis and this is.a.sick merged river bet that is well beyond my comprehension..... Because it looks like a total spew to me,
Pre I'm kind of ok with in some senses, I think bigger is better and would prefer a5 or a6s alot
Flop I think a check would be good here in a lot of ways, but I'm fine with the bet.
Turn bet as played is a spew, if we check flop betting turn is fine
River...your either much better than I can piece together, had some mad read on your villans, or you just threw 270 away.....

nah...he got someone to throw away a hand he should have called wirh or he was good the whole way and turned it into a bluff

the hands we are bluffing are so thin and getting called by worse is lol...we beat A5 weeeeee!...seriously this cant be good even if it worked
