5-5 NL Flopped Set on 3 flush board

5-5 NL Holdem 300-500 buy in

Hero: $600
Villain 1: $750 - Has been calling hands light and recently called my pre flop raise light and called flop c-bet with air only to hit runner runner 2 pair.
Villain 2: $120 - Regular player who plays like a nit.

Hero EP ($650)
MP+1($800)
MP+2($1250)
BTN($120)
SB($400)
BB($500)

Hero dealt 77

Hero calls 5, MP+1 (villain 1) calls 5, MP+2 chks option (missed blind), BTN (villain 2) bets $30, SB calls, BB calls, Hero calls, MP+1 calls, MP+2 calls

Pot: $180
Flop: 74Q

Checks to button. BTN moves all in $90, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls, MP +1 moves all in for $770. MP+2 fold, Hero?

Villain 1 has been a target of mine because I have seen him call bets light and even c bets light. My read is that this guy is capable of spewing but it really looked like a baby flush. Effective pot is $840. I have $510 left. Ever correct to call here?

V1 definitely has it in him to shove like this if he had QK or QA type hands...

of course, a baby flush is likewise in his range.

But would he spew like this with a Queen and be trying to get any drawers out? Is he that type of spew monkey.

Based on the limited info you provided, meh, I don't mind stacking off here vs this villain. His range does include K and A type hands that are drawing to the point where you have enough equity to make the call.

So, I make the call while simultaneously reaching into my pocket for a rebuy while yelling "CHIPS"

Given your description, I'm calling. Very hard for them to have you crushed, as they would have to have flopped top set or a flush, and they can do this with
bottom set as well.

Re: 5-5 NL Flopped Set on 3 flush board

I ran it on Pokerstove, if he's got a flush you're about a 2-1 dog in the hand overall. With the pot at 840 and you having to call 510 you aren't quite getting the right price for your hand. If you're up against QQ you're just about dead. On the other hand you're a big favorite over AcQx or anything even worse than that. Honestly given your villian descriptions I'd probably be more worried about being behind in the main pot than the side at this point. If the BTN is really a nit the only hands he could possibly be holding at this point that you would be ahead of are AcAx or KcKx. QQ or AcKc are definitely possible. Given that two players have gone all in on this flop, it's hard to imagine their hands are both worse than yours. You may have seen the button call bets light but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's going to shove light. I'm most likely folding here.

Wouldn't be in this spot because I wouldn't make this bad a call pre, but get it in on the flop as played.

Pre is a super easy standard call. Two callers already plus if we call other limpers are sure to come along. Thus we are getting great odds (direct +implied). If you aren't calling in these situations you are leaving lots of money on the table.

Re: 5-5 NL Flopped Set on 3 flush board

The second all in smells like Ax or possibly a small flush. Id say he is showing up with a draw often enough to make this a call. Also, if hes drawing, he likely only has 7 outs as the nitty villain most definitely has clubs.

Villain is making a poor shove Imo, regardless of his hand.

Re: 5-5 NL Flopped Set on 3 flush board

I think villain 1 has a small set.

Why else would he push over an all in and a flat call?

He could be spewing, but that excuse always justifies a call.

The question is do you wanna gamble a bit.

Re: 5-5 NL Flopped Set on 3 flush board

Please correct me if my math is wrong, the pot is now at $840 and you have $480 left to call. 1.75-1 is pretty close to call for me in that spot I think. You're a 2-1 dog against a flush, but his range has to include at least some combos of the A and K.

Like dgiharris said, call and prepare to reload if necessary.
