Villain (SB): MAWG, not too many reads ($800)
Hero (BB): mid 20s Asian, TAG image (covers)

BTN limps, villain completes. Hero makes it $25 with 77. BTN folds and villain calls.

Flop: AK7 ($53)

Villain checks. Hero bets $40. Villain calls.

Turn: 4 ($131)

Villain checks. Hero bets X. Villain calls.

River: 3

Villain checks.

On an AKx x x runout should I not be going nuts? I feel like if there's any board to overbet as the preflop raiser, I should be doing so on this board. He's so capped and I should be trying to maximize value with all my strong hands. Especially this specific hand cause I don't block Ax. $50 on flop, pot turn might have made it easier to shove river and get his stack in. What do you guys think?

Pot the flop and turn. River sizing depends on the card and what you think he's willing to call with just an ace...or possibly just a king.

Why are we bumping up 77 from the BB here?

Because it crushes their limping ranges, has showdown value as a non-overpair heads up and is easier to get stacks in if I flop a set.
