$2/5 $500 max.

not all that exciting of a hand, but wondering if this was too thin as i dont normally raise a hand this weak for value.

Hero BB ($500)

V1 - SB - $400 - pretty bad to average rec player. not overly loose. a few weeks ago V1 stacked me for almost 200bb in a flopped set over set. he flatted flop. and jammed turned. doubt he remembers though. bought in game for $300

V2 - EP - $400 - really bad loose recreational player. we played a long sessions a couple nights ago. he prob perceives me as a tight/solid player but doesn't care much. here to gambool.

V2 limps, 3 more players limp, V1 completes SB
Hero KcTh checks in BB

flop ($25) Jc7c6c
V1 check. Hero check. V2 bets $10
folds to V1 calls
Hero calls (?)

turn ($55): Qs
V1 check
Hero check
V2 check

river ($55): 9h
V1 bets $30
Hero raises to $110

is the river raise too thin? targeting lower straights (T8 got there) as well as any 2p/sets.

im sure posters will ask "can't get called by worse." *shrug* i think that every time i value raise in llsnl, but they seem to find a way to do so.

figure most players will raise their weaker flushes on flop. i think my line also looks FOS.

i will admit that i dont have a strong sense of V1's calling range here on the river. i just perceive him to be a below average rec player, and not necessarily the tightest of players

I don't know about the flop call. Your implied odds aren't all that great with it being the 4th club if it hits, you're not drawing to the nuts and you're OOP. I'd probably fold the flop.

AP, I think I like the raise since it's likely that you have the best hand here but I would look to make it smaller and get crying calls from two pairs and the weaker straight (T8cx?). Probably something like $80.

Yeah flop is not good - but AP river raise/fold is good

You don't need implied odds when the bet is only $10 into $25. Flop call seems totally fine to me although I personally would have led the flop myself for $10 or $15.

I think river is a call given that you have medium strength and you're in the middle of three players. You want V2 to overcall and there's not a huge amount of value to be had from V1.

Flop call is std. Interesting play on river. Better than calling imo

Personally like the overcall argument...flop call is not standard, I would say it is with AcTx

Flop call is easy. River raise is borderline but prolly correct. V1 should show up with enough 2 pairs here i think to be profitable

in retrospect i think overcall is better given V2 description. V2 is really bad, and could potentially overcall with like 1pair hands.

if V2 is a better player, maybe raising is ok. just wanted to make sure raising here wasn't too thin.

i think flop call is not very good, but prob can't be all that -EV given the bet size and sb's call. but obviously never great to be calling to draw to the 2nd nuts on a 4-to a flush board.

As others have said, flop call looks bad to me.

River I think it's a great spot to raise as long as you are willing to obv to a 3b.

XF flop.

River as played is meh. If I raise, I make it smaller
