2-5 Nut flush draw

2 limpers to Hero im MP (1700) with A4 Hero limps Sb completes BB checks. Flop 1089 SB (1200) bets 20. TAG player. Has anything from top pair to nutz. UTG (800) makes it 75. TAG. very tight. few showdowns he showed 3rd nutz or better. I put him on a set or straight. He 3bet flop one time with middle set in a previous hand. Folded to Hero? Fold, call, or reraise?

yah, if your read is right he either will give no action when you hit, or he'll have a redraw that he likely won't overpay for...what's ur image?

Re: 2-5 Nut flush draw

I'd fold here..

But if you put villain on sets/straights, why can't he have 2pair? Why can't he limp 98s/T8s/T9s?

If he's tag/tight why would he not raise TT preflop? 99? 88?

Do you not think if you 3bet, he'd fold all 2pairs?

Let's say he has:

QJo/QJs/76s/89s/T8s/T9s/88/99/TT when he raises here.

That's 2.7%.

Let's say he folds 2 pair (narrow's range to 2.2% that means he'll raise fold here nearly 1/5th of the time). What other hands will he raise/fold?

Also note that if we make it 250 to go, SB is in a difficult spot. If you're SB and you lead out and get raised and re-raised, how much do you love 88 here? Hell how much do you love 76o here?

Just a thought.

Very true. I was more worried about getting any action if I did hit the flush. The only way I figured to get action is if SB also had flush draw.

Thanks for the post. Very helpful in my thought process
