2/5 NL: What do you do here? 2/5 NL: What do you do here?

The table just started less than an hour.

V1(UTG,$2000): Late 20s/Early 30s asian guy. He won 200bb in first 30 mins. Showed TPTK and top set. Seems running good. Play a lot hands.
V2(BTN,$1500): 20s white guy. Stuck at least 1000 already. Play almost every hand.

The hand:

V1 raises to 20, EP calls, Hero re-raises to 80 QhQs, V2, calls, V1 thinks for 20 seconds and calls. EP folds.

Flop($260):Js9h5d
V1 checks, Hero bets 150, V2 calls, V1 calls.

Turn($710):4h
V1 leads 350, Hero has about 850 behind......

I think it's reasonable to call. If V2 raises you can fold, and if V2 calls you can fold some bad rivers. There aren't a lot of draws to worry about and you block QT

You say V1 plays a lot of hands... but is he raising or calling, and playing positional? In other words, does he look like skillful loose or running hot (so far) loose? How much do you respect his UTG open?

If his range on pairs is something like 99+ then that flop looks pretty bad and you might as well fold now. I mean, it feels a little weak to give up here, especially with Mr. Any Two behind but there has been enough action to scare me away.

Now if his range is a bit wider, I dunno. It's not hard to think you are ahead and have lots of outs against random 2p hands. The presence of V2 would probably turn this into a somewhat +EV hand so just calling doesn't seem bad. Against 2 loose opponents you could be up against all kinds of things here so it's hard to really narrow this down too much, just roll the dice.

But again, really hinges on what range you have for V1 raising UTG.

****ty spot - i probably call, but a fold seems better.

There's a decent number of draws on the flop and especially the turn. It's true the QQ blocks but still you have QT, T8, and 87 (double gutter) on the flop and the turn adds a flush draw.

Probably nitty of me, but I'd fold here. After v c/c flop and then leads turn, it really feels like he has 2p+ and doesn't want to risk action checking through OTT. I'd think that his straight draws would check again and hope to realize his equity cheaply. Also in a 3! pot I can't see V now deciding to lead into the 3 bettor OTT with something like a TP hand.

Given what little information is available, my gut reaction is to put villain on something like AhJh, or Qh10h.

Reasoning:

V1's early raise means little, but with Hero's 3-bet, I would expect V1 to put Hero on pocket 10's and up or >AxJx through AxKx. In either case, V1 would be expecting a continuation bet on the flop. With V2 calling ahead of V1, V1 could be on a draw, have a single pair, or just be floating (least likely).

When the small heart hits the turn, V1's reasoning should have gone something like:
If I check, Hero will bet any over-pair; Hero will bet any AxJx; Hero will probably bet 10x10x; Hero may bluff with AxKx or AxQx; Given 3 players still in the hand, a reasonable bet for Hero should be $250-$500.

Assuming V1 is using basic logic, if V1 really flopped a monster set or 2-pair, the play should be check, wait for a bet and maybe a call from V2, then check-raise.

But, if V1 has top pair, or perhaps the Qh10h, betting may give him a chance to see the river for $350, or take the pot down if Hero is sitting on AxQx or AxKx. It also still leaves room to fold if Hero jams and V2 folds.

I think there may be a small chance V1 bet hoping to mind-trick Hero into a shove, but I would really need to know the players involved to get married to that idea.

Given all of that, If I'm hero, I jam, hoping to see AxJx.
