I was hoping that someone who is math savvy could help me work out profitable squeezing ranges.
I have never actually sat down and done this before so I just wanted to be shown how to correctly crunch the numbers 1 time so that I can get the ball rolling & proceed in the future on my own with the confidence that I am doing it all correctly.
Basically I know we need to consider:
1) villain's opening range
2) villains's calling off range
These 2 estimates will in turn give us the villain's fold %
Then we also need to consider:
3) pot size
4) our shove amount
5) our estimated equity when called
I have been toying around with fpppro.com fold equity calculator and I feel like I'm probably about 75% of the way there to understanding the whole concept but I would really appreciate if someone that really knew what they were doing walked me through what my actual IN GAME AT THE TABLE QUICK CALCULATION SHOULD BE WHEN I SEE FOR EXAMPLE A RAISE TO 4x, 3 callers from typical live loose/passives and I look down at say 89s & I want to know if it is a profitable squeeze with 40bb stack.
If it is more convenient I would like to exchange phone numbers so we can communicate quicker than PM or email.
