Effective stacks: $1500+ between Hero and V.. V limps a wide range, is capable of bluffing, but is slightly locked up on his stack after stacking some other drunk whales and has started playing passively

3 limps, Hero raises to $25 in LP with AdJc, 2 of them (fishes) call

Flop ($80): J75hh
C, C, Hero bets $55, F, Call

Turn ($190): 3h
C, C

River ($190): As
V bets $125, Hero ?

This bet is either a value bet like a flush, or a stone cold bluff. Because villain has been passive I'm inclined to believe he isn't bluffing OOP and instead is just trying to get value for a flush or even a straight. I don't think he bets this amount with two pair, especially since we obviously block him having A7 or A5. Assuming villain view's hero as a good player and respects his game I don't think we have to worry about exploited here and can fold knowing villain has a better holding.

Not fist pumping, but standard in that you just need to beat a quarter of his betting range no?

You made it sound like he has some bad play tendencies which to me means he might be able to get to the river with some worse hands he wants to vb for 125 moreso than check-call (maybe limped AQ/K, the 4 remaining AJs, A5/7, 57s that wanted to stack control). That's enough for me to throw in the call even though he shows me better hands pretty often.

Super standard call. Never ever folding. You beat worse 2 pairs value betting & a bunch of gutshots/random floats

I'd just keep blasting the turn without a heart

Deepstack is not my forte.

I'm cool with preflop.

The more passive the opponents are, the more I bet/fold the flop. The more aggro they can be, the more I check back the flop (looking to get to showdown and not get bluffed off my hand). I'm cool with the flop bet if we can fold to a raise.

I'm cool with the turn checkback.

I'm trying to think of a reasonable hand that could be betting for value that we're ahead of, or a draw that called the flop but has whiffed by the river and is now bluffing. There ain't a lot. 75 could be betting for value; would they raise the flop or even be in the hand? The flush draw got there, as did 64. 86 missed. Are those one gappers even in the mix? Are A7/A5/etc. in the mix? Overall, kinda tough spot. I doubt he's bluffing, but I think there might (???) be enough worse value hands in the mix to make the call.

Results:

Uhh well, I obv called. V showed 77.

I like how they outplay me by not raising flop and getting me to bet/fold.
