Villain 1 (BB): MAWG, loose fish ($350)
Villain 2 (BTN): mid to late 20s white guy, TAG ($600)
Hero (MP): mid 20s Asian, TAG image ($450)

Hero opens $10 with 66:spade. Both villains call.

Flop: 654 ($28)

Checked to hero. Hero bets $20. Both villains call.

Turn: 8 ($87)

Checked to hero.

Should I continue the aggression here? Maybe bet 55 and hope to get called by an overpair with a heart? If I x/c BTN could bluff me off with something like ace high BDFD. Also if I bet and river pairs I can over bet and they probably wouldn't put me on a boat cause in their minds I probably slow down on the turn with a set.

You know any A7 kills your game , fish think these hands are powerhouses. I did fold Ah8h and that pot was $700, but it wasn't worth it to go through all the streets on their terms. Unless you are TAG , and going to get half your stack on this hand, you are now not a TAG player at all but just another LAG. But if your live reads on all the players seem to be weak go for it. I folded AA in this spot on a flush board no As to even call down , loss only $25 and manage to take more pots with mariginal hands . Play poker not the individual hands you declare great, then have to second guess yourself as a future degen

Absolute wors turncard in the entire deck, so this is an easy checkback with most of our range.

Continue to blast on this turn into multiple opponents is horrible. Check and try to get a free rivercard to boat up/get to showdown as cheap as possible.

1) If you bet 55$ on the turn, what worse hands continue at this point do you think?

2) If you bet 55$, what do you do if you get raised?

Very standard x/c. Also, dont be so afraid about getting bluffed here. The BTN is going to check back much more than you think he will, and unless he's a donk, he should. Never folding this turn either

I had a similar hand when I had a set and the board came out with 4 same suits . I had to abort the river even though 70% of my stack was in. Anyhow we win the money we loss and move on from that , I concluded the only hand that was able to countinue was anything with AJ+ and he got lucky with the nut flush. I tanked for a long time on the fold but he did show me AKo and ask me if I laid down two pair , we kinda shrug it off not a letting him know we have a set because we'll get him on a different hand

The most obvious draw got there along with any 7. I'd check. Let the button bet if they want to. We can then act after the BB and have a better idea where we stand. I don't think a bet is horrible. We can't always just quit when a horrible card comes.

I don't think a check is a quit at all. Checking doesn't mean we are beat and giving up on the pot. I think this a pretty easy check and evaluate, I don't see the need to get fancy and out level ourself.

Sorry, I was unclear. I meant we can not always quit betting when a horrible card comes.
