1/2 NL Hand

I was playing a short handed game the other day at the casino 5 or 6 players at the 1/2 stake. It folded around the button who made it 7, he had a stack of about 220. The small blind calls and I in the BB have 96 of spades. my stack is at about 105. I decided to call. the flop comes ... Q 8 7. the SB checks as do I. the button overbets the pot and makes it 25. SB folds. What should I do here or should I even have bet out? The button has a pretty wide range. and thoughts?

U can't ask for a better flop, u r too shortstacked to call 96s oop, IO are not there...just fold pre...

As played, shove and hope he folds or calls and u hit

How can you do anything other than shove? You got exactly what you wanted on the flop.

Re: 1/2 NL Hand

With a shortish stack and being OOP and only going 3way to the flop, I just fold preflop.

I would just check/shove here. We'll have some FE and allow some dead money to go into the pot before bringing down the hammer with our monster draw.
