I'm not opposed to raising the flop, I just want to know what kind of villains we're up against. This is exactly the kind of hand 100+ bbs deep that can very easily be overplayed. In the end, all you've got is Ten high.

If the raise will very likely earn me a free card if I miss the turn, I'm all for it.
I would put UTG 2 on a draw of some sorts. OP said table has been redic loose which might give UTGs range of Axss, broadways, PPs, Ax, Connecters 98+.

On the flop I think i have enough equity VS the Vils to play for stacks in this situation. I see your question of what will happen when the flush hits i guess this where reads and history come into play. For a standard Vil if he is this loose im expecting him to be passive as well. I raise to 60 looking to build a pot and leaving enough behind for FE on later streets if needed.

The way the hand is played, why are calling with 10 8 dd if not for flops like this?

I like raising this flop bet for a few reasons.... you're not likely in bad shape equity-wise (only afraid of higher fds), you're in position, if you flat, like previously stated, you have zero action... whereas you raise and you get your opponent more committed to crying calls on turn and riv, you'll get more action on other hands if you're raising your draws and have a raisey image and lastly, you get fold equity if you miss and decide to have a crack at it on later streets.
Which is it? How do you get them to call your value bets and fold to your bluffs (honest question)?

And why in the world would you show the Td? Saying please call me look I only have a T isn't the best way to get a call. He probably thought you had TT.

Re: 1/2 live huge draw, think i misplayed it.

I think you played it correctly. The problem with reraising the flop is we are so deep that if they rereraise then you have the choice of taking at best a 40/60 or passing a hand with a ton of equity, neither of which are desirable!

I think we have to raise the turn to get value from our hand, especially if they have the 8. I would be tempted to raise to just 60 to keep him involved and then you can milk the river.

Never ever show a card like that! As soon as you ndo that he is neevr ever calling as it is obv that the other card is the important one that makes a big hand!!

hey man i had a few beers in me, do not question my tactics!

haha na but seriously i never show cards, ever. but he picked his hand up and was 1 second away from wingin it into the muck, so i just said here wanna see 1? and flipped the 10 of d, and he actually did consider calling for another minute or so until half the table stated "he must have 10 8 dude, fold it." apparently the whole table can help a player now...

thanks for all the responses, looks like i played it right (minus the showing of my hole card)
