1/2 JJ played poorly

1/2 NL V1 is a white mid to late 50's male who is new to the table and has played almost every hand he is dealt, and played them very aggressively. He is UTG with roughly $1000 and limps, V2 a younger regular to the game in the CO with about $500, raises to $12. Hero TAG who has only shown down a few hands and have all been big hands, hero OTB with about $1000 looks down at JJ and 3bets to $36 (which thinking about it now I wish I raised more). V1 and V2 both call. pot is about $110 and the flop comes 3c2h3h. V1says perfect and donks into us for $50, V2 calls and hero calls. I didnt want to get the pot to big and I was in position so I figured I would let V1 just keep betting into me. The turn was a Qh completeing a flush draw if anyone was on one. V1 bets $100 with no hesitation, V2 folds and hero calls. The river brings the As. V1 bets $200 instantly. Hero folds. I feel I played this hand terrible, what should I have done.

Paras in next post please. This is hard to follow.

This is 1/2? Man it plays deep in you neck of the woods.

I prob raise/fold flop. Gross spot when any Q, and A (unlikley, imo) and any 3 beat you, beut AP I think we have to call river once we get there, since A really changes little. What A does he limp and then cold call a raise and a 3-bet?

Yeah this was the deepest I've played and it made me uncomfortable in this pot. The villian was calling with anything no matter what the raise was pre flop. Winning pots with 8 3 off and other random hands. I was worried of suited aces A2, A3, A4, or A5.

This is what I call a "donk-bet" issue. Lagtards often donk with weak pairs or draws, so raising flop is best here (as, I think, you now realize).

Rather than see deep-stacks as a reason to be passive, you should see them as a reason to be aggressive. Being 500BB allows you to raise/fold in these situations, with the option of pot controlling turn and river, with position.

You're not strong enough to let Villain bet into you here, especially as it's not HU.

every draw got there, and if he had 44-1010 he wouldn barrel all 3 streets

Re: 1/2 JJ played poorly

what are you doing calling after one raise, and caller ? you pretty much give them both another free card by calling after v1 raises and v2 calls. your play here should be a raise here 100% of the time. by calling your just throwing away your money. Either fold if you know your beat, or raise too protect your hands by potential draws and also finding more info about where you villains are at abouts.
